Objective(s):Application of META-analysis to explore the effect of Chinese medicine preparation in paraquat poisoning treatment,to provide an objective basis for Xuebijing injection combined with hemoperfusion in treating paraquat poisoning.To investigate the changes of short-term survival rate,PaO2,ALT,AST,BUN,CR,WBC and CRP of Xuebijing injection combined with hemoperfusion for paraquat poisoning in China.Methods:A computer search was performed on PubMed(16 articles),EMBASE(21 articles),Cochrane(1 article),CNKI(129 articles),CBM(151 articles),Lyp(136 articles)and Wanfang database(243 articles),to find the Case-control study of Xuebijing combined with hemoperfusion for treating paraquat poisoning,the literature was selected according to the design and exclusion criteria,the data were extracted and Meta-analysis was performed with STATA software.Results:A total of 1411 patients,including 731 in the experimental group and 705 in the control group,were included,the results of Meta-analysis showed that:The survival rate of paraquat poisoning patients at different time(≤7 days,8-14 days,15-28 days,≥29 days,NA)was significantly better than that of Control Group The combination of Xuebijing and hemoperfusion could improve the short-term survival rate of paraquat poisoning patients,and the difference was statistically significant(the combined effect p≤0.001).The heterogeneity of PaO2 index was high,but it was still high after single literature was eliminated step by step.Further study is needed.The heterogeneity of AST was higher in each study,and the Heterogeneity of Xuebijing dose was lower than that in the previous study.The results showed that Xuebijing had some effect on the decrease of AST.The heterogeneity of ALT in M eta-analysis and publication bias in Begg analysis were higher than that in other Meta-analysis.BUN has a high heterogeneity,but it needs further study because of the less literatures and the less convincing ending.CR index is lower,although the heterogeneity is larger,but no publication bias,although the stability of the outcome,but by other factors more influence,need further study.WBC Meta-analysis of the final results across the invalid line,can not explain Xuebijing combined with hemoperfusion on the impact of WBC.The CRP in Xuebijing group was low,which showed that Xuebijing combined with hemoperfusion had an effect on CRP.However,due to the small number of cases,we can not rule out other heterogeneous sources,convincing lower,to be further studied.Conclusion(s):The short-term survival rate of Xuebijing combined with hemoperfusion group(Observation Group)was significantly better than that of Control Group(control group)in the treatment of paraquat poisoning.At different time,the Heterogeneity of each study was small(p>0.01,I2=0%),negligible heterogeneity.The differences were statistically significant.The overall index of PaO2,AST,ALT,BUN,CR and CRP in the observation group were lower.However,the Heterogeneity of Alt,Bun and CR was great,and there was no significant difference in WBC index.Therefore,the effect of Xuebijing injection combined with hemoperfusion on PaO2,AST,ALT,BUN,CR,CRP and WBC in paraquat poisoning patients is still controversial and needs further study.
