| Objective: Reactive Oxygen Species Modulator 1(ROMO1)can regulate the generation of Reactive Oxygen Species(ROS),which is involved in the occurrence and development of asthma diseases, but ROMO1 and asthma have not been reported. The role of ROMO1 in the pathogenesis of asthma and its application are discussed to provide a new target for the diagnosis and treatment of asthma. Methods: A total of twenty-four patients with acute exacerbations of bronchial asthma and twenty-four patients with clinical remission were randomly selected as the main study objects from April 2019 to April 2020 in the Respiratory and Critical Care Clinic of the Affiliated Hospital of Guilin Medical College.Twenty healthy patients undergoing physical examination in our hospital were the control group. The peripheral blood ROMO1 concentration of all patients were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. At the same time,Lung function were detected. The results were statistically analyzed. Results: Comparison of serum ROMO1 concentration in each group: the serum ROMO1 concentration in the acute attack group was significantly higher than that in the clinical remission group(P<0.05)and the healthy control group(P<0.05).The serum ROMO1 concentration of the clinical remission group was significantly higher than that of the healthy control group(P<0.05).(2)comparison of lung function in each group: FEV1 and FEV1/FVC in the acute attack group were lower than those in the clinical remission group(P<0.05)and the healthy control group(P<0.05).FEV1 and FEV1/FVC in the clinical remission group were lower than those in the healthy control group(P <0.05).(3)Correlation analysis between peripheral ROMO1 level and lung function in each group: ROMO1 concentration in the acute attack group was negatively correlated with FEV1(r=-0.495)and FEV1/FVC(r=-0.514),with statistical significance(P<0.05).In the clinical remission group,ROMO1 concentration was negatively correlated with FEV1(r=-0.427)and FEV1/FVC(r=-0.45),with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusions: :(1)ROMO1may be involved in the pathogenesis of asthma.(2)the monitoring of lung function indicators FEV1 and FEV1/FVC has certain guiding significance for the assessment of asthma. |
