| Objectives:By analyzing the influencing factors among different countries,languages and publication frequencies of anesthesiology journals included in jounal citation reports(JCR),this paper explores the changing trend of impact factors of anesthesiology journals in China and foreign countries in recent years.To sort out the current research hotspots of anesthesiology.The distribution of hot spots in anesthesiology journals included in JCR was analyzed.The author units of all three journals of anesthesiology in China were sorted out to understand the distribution.To understand the influence of the publication of papers related to anesthesiology hot spots on the impact factors of the corresponding journals,so as to further grasp the current anesthesiology hot spots,the latest skills.According to the research results of this paper,reduce the number of publication of hot spots papers that may reduce the impact factors of journals,and further improve the impact factors of journals,from the perspective of public health,improve the overall quality of medical journals,so as to provide reference for the management of health undertakings.Methods:Through literature research,retrieval of Chinese and foreign countries’databases,bibliometrics method were adopted to analyze the current situation of anesthesiology journals included journals in JCR from 2014 to 2016 and three Chinese anesthesiology journals,as well as the impact factors of each journal.Cite Space document analysis software was used.Analysis and summary of hot spots that can improve the impact factor of anesthesiology journals.According to Bradford’s law,one of the three laws of bibliometrics,according to the number of hot topics in anesthesiology,JCR journals are divided into core area,related area and marginal area,make the number of papers in each hot spot equal,analyze the distribution law of journals in three regions.The author units of three domestic anesthesiology journals were searched through the database and classified and compared according to provinces.The correlation between the publication rate of papers and its impact factors in the corresponding anesthesiology journals was analysed.SPSS 18.0statistical software was used to deal with the data.The variance analysis of repeated measurement data was conducted for the normally distributed data,and the Friedman non-parametric test was conducted for the non-normally distributed data.Chi-square test was used for rate comparison,and spearman correlation analysis was used for correlation analysis.Results:Thirty journals related to anesthesiology in 2014,thirty-one in 2015 and thirty-one in 2016 were included in JCR.Journals related to anesthesiology included in JCR were stable in three years,and the ranking of impact factors of some journals changed slightly.Journals with incomplete data were excluded from this study.Twenty-nine journals of anesthesiology included in JCR were brought into our study.Three Chinese journals related to anesthesiology were also brought into our study.Of the 29 anesthesiology journals included in JCR,11(37.93%)were from the United States,7(24.14%)from the United Kingdom,5(17.24%)from Germany.Among the Italy,Denmark,Canada,Australia,Japan and Brazil,each had one journal was included.Of the 29 anesthesiology journals included in JCR,23(79.31%)were in English,followed by multilingual journals,4(13.79%)and 2(6.90%)in German.Of the 29 anesthesiology journals included in JCR,13(44.83%)were monthly,6(20.69%)were bimonthly,3(10.34%)were quarterlyand8issues/year,Others include 10 issues/year 2 journals(6.90%),7 issues/year 1 journals(3.45%),the BMC Anesthesiology journal does not have a fixed frequency of publication,with a total of 4 copies(13.79%).There are many hotspots in anesthesiology at present.In this paper,the choice of Anesthesiology hotspots mainly established the following hotspots mainly through the selection of acceptance of manuscripts(referred to as selected manuscripts),summary and academic exchange three ways:postoperative cognitive dysfunction(POCD);dexmedetomidine(DEX);enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS);Ultrasound Guided.The distribution of the four hot spots of anesthesiology in JCR journals shows that the distribution ratio of core,related and marginal journals is approximately 1:a:a~2,which is consistent with Bradford’s law as the distribution law expressed in the three laws of bibliometrics.Of the 29 journals of anesthesia included in JCR from 2014 to 2016,the impact factor of British Journal of Anaesthesia journal in 2016 was the highest.The average impact factor of 29 journals in 2016 was significantly higher than that in 2014 and 2015(P<0.05).The impact factors of American journals in 2016 were significantly higher than those in 2014(P<0.05).The impact factors of UK journals in 2016 and 2015 were significantly higher than those in 2014(P<0.05).From 2014 to 2016,there was no significant difference in the mean impact factors of German journals(P>0.05).There were totally three anesthesiology journals in China,including Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology,Journal of Clinical Anesthesiology,International Journal of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation.This paper studies the journal impact factors from2014 to 2016,and the literature corresponding to the impact factors during the three-year period is the literature published in the journal from 2012 to 2015,so this paper further analyzes the literature published in the journal from 2012 to 2015.According to the analysis of all author units of the three journals from 2012 to 2015,there were totally 4382 cases of author units.In every year from 2012 to 2015,the number of author units from Journal of Clinical Anesthesiology was the largest,while the number from International Journal of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation was the least.The author units of the three journals were classified according to their respective provinces.In every year from 2012 to 2015,the list of provinces or municipalities that there were at least five author units announced articles in the three journals includes:Jiang Su,Bei Jing,Guang Dong and Shan Dong.In the year of 2012,comparing the difference of composition ratio of number of the author unit from three anesthesiology journals in Jiang Su,Bei Jing and Shan Dong,there was no statistical significance(P>0.05).The number of author unit from Guang Dong in International Journal of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation,was significantly higher than the number in Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology and Journal of Clinical Anesthesiology(P<0.05).The difference of the number of author unit from Guang Dong in Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology and Journal of Clinical Anesthesiology had no statistical significance(P>0.05).In the year of 2013,comparing the difference of composition ratio of number of the author unit from three anesthesiology journals in Bei Jing,Guang Dong and Shan Dong,there was no statistical significance(P>0.05).The number of author unit from Jiang Su in Journal of Clinical Anesthesiology,was significantly higher than the number in Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology(P<0.05).The difference of the number of author unit from Jiang Su in Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology and International Journal of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation had no statistical significance(P>0.05).In the year of 2014,comparing the difference of composition ratio of number of the author unit from three anesthesiology journals in Bei Jing,Guang Dong and Shan Dong,there was no statistical significance(P>0.05).The number of author unit from Jiang Su in Journal of Clinical Anesthesiology,was significantly higher than the number in Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology and International Journal of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation(P<0.05).The difference of the number of author unit from Jiang Su in Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology and International Journal of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation had no statistical significance(P>0.05).In the year of 2015,comparing the difference of composition ratio of number of the author unit from three anesthesiology journals in Jiang Su,Bei Jing,Guang Dong and Shan Dong,there was no statistical significance(P>0.05).Analysis of the publication rate of hot spots in anesthesiology and its influencing factors showed that,there was a significant negative correlation between the publication rate of papers retrieved with POCD as the subject word and its impact factors in the corresponding anesthesiology journals.The more papers published with POCD as the hotspot,the lower the impact factors of the corresponding journals.The relationship between the publication rate of papers used by DEX as the hotspot and the impact factors of the corresponding journals had no statistical significance,which showed that there was no significant correlation between the publication rate of papers retrieved with DEX as the subject word and its impact factors in the corresponding anesthesiology journals.There was no significant correlation between the publication rate of papers used by ERAS as a hotspot and the impact factors of corresponding journals.It showed that there was no significant correlation between the publication rate of papers retrieved by ERAS and its impact factors in corresponding anesthesiology journals.There was no significant correlation between the publication rate of papers used by Ultrasound Guided as a hotspot and the impact factors of the corresponding journals.It showed that there was no significant correlation between the publication rate of papers retrieved by Ultrasound Guided and its impact factors in the corresponding anesthesiology journals.Conclusions:Through the analysis of the journals’impact factors,it is found that the impact factors of anesthesiology journals are on the rise from 2014 to 2016.In this paper,the paper volume distribution of the four hot spots of POCD,DEX,ERAS and Ultrasound Guided included in JCR conforms to Bradford’s law of the three major bibliometrics laws the distribution law expressed.There are only three anesthesiology journals in our country,including Chinese Journal of Anesthesiology,Journal of Clinical Anesthesiology,International Journal of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation,with stable influence factors from 2014 to 2016.In the literature from the year of2012 to 2015,hospitals or related institutions in Jiang Su,Bei Jing,Guang Dong and Shan Dong accounted for a relatively high number of authors in the three domestic anesthesiology journals.In the field of anesthesiology,the more papers published with POCD as the hotspot,the lower the impact factors of the corresponding journals.Through this paper,it is found that the full use of English can improve the readability of Chinese journals in the global scope,and the publication of high-quality papers is the fundamental way to enhance the influence of journals.As the editorial department of anesthesiology journal,we should optimize the selection process and strengthen peer review.The editorial department should also take advantage of its geographical advantages and communicate with local anesthesiologists and other editorial departments to make common progress.Editorial department members themselves also need to improve professional level,in order to promote the overall development of the journal.Only by giving full play to all the advantages and making full use of the information data can we develop the periodical better.In public health area,the use of big data is about to begin.The development of public health also needs to accept the integration of multiple disciplines and make progress together. |
