| Objective:Abdominoplasty is one of the most common plastic surgeries worldwide[1].The research in this field is constantly developing.The purpose of this bibliometric analysis is to assess the research status of abdominoplasty,describe research trends,and identify relevant research hotspots and research fronts in abdominoplasty,so as to serve as a basis for scientific research in the field of abdominoplasty.Development provides ideas and direction.Methods:In this study,the relevant articles on abdominal wall surgery searched in the Web of Science database from 2010 to 2021 were used as the data source,and with the help of Citespace 5.8.A bibliometric analysis of abdominoplasty was carried out in terms of citation analysis,keyword emergence analysis,and keyword cluster analysis.Using Citespace5.8.R3 software to draw a knowledge map,a visual analysis of knowledge subjects,research hotspots,knowledge bases and research frontiers was carried out.The co-occurrence of keywords and the co-citation analysis of the citations are carried out,and the emergent analysis of the keywords is carried out using the burst detection algorithm,and the cluster analysis of the co-citations is carried out.Results:A total of 1026 related literatures in the field of abdominoplasty were retrieved.From 2010 to 2021,the cumulative number of publications in the field of abdominoplasty generally shows a linear growth trend;the main research countries in this field include the United States,Brazil,France,and Italy;the dominant research institutions include the University of Pittsburgh,the University of Texas at Dallas Southwestern Medical Center,and the University of Sao Paulo,Harvard Medical School,etc.;the core authors with the most published papers are Lydia Masako Ferreira,J Peter Rubin,Fabio Xerfan Nahas,Jeffrey M Kenkel,etc.The papers are mainly published in Plast Reconster Surg,Ann Plas Surg,Aesthet Plast Surg,Aesthet Surg J and other journals;high-frequency keywords in the field of abdominoplasty are liposuction（liposuction）,bariatric surgery（bariatric surgery）,progressive tension suture（progressive tension suture）;mainly focus on three clusters:one is abdominal wall A study on the risk factors,complications and safety of plastic surgery.The second is the application of abdominoplasty in obese patients.The third is the need for abdominoplasty in patients after a large number of bariatric surgery and the risk assessment method for combined surgery.Conclusion:Based on the obtained data and the results of bibliometric analysis,the international research interest in abdominoplasty has shown an upward trend in recent years.Many research institutions are conducting in-depth explorations of abdominoplasty,and plastic surgery is the most prominent research contribution in the field.By revealing the main research countries and institutions,influential journals,important authors,cooperation between countries and institutions,cooperation between departments,general development trends,hot issues and research development trends in recent years,this paper provides a great opportunity for further in-depth research.good guide. |
