| [Objective]Objective to investigate the expression of Ki-67 and p63 in giant cell tumor of bone(GCTB)and their relationship with imaging grade, pathological grade and tumor recurrence,so as to provide basis for biological behavior and prognosis of GCTB.[Methods]From March 2010 to March 2018,99 cases of giant cell tumor of long bone and 10 cases of normal bone tissue adjacent to tumor were collected. The expression of Ki-67 and p63 was detected by immunohistochemistry, and the relationship between the expression of Ki-67 and p63 and the clinical pathological variables was analyzed.[Results]1.The expression level of Ki-67 in GCTB was significantly higher than that in adjacent normal bone tissue(P<0.05).The expression level of Ki-67 in recurrent GCTB group was significantly higher than that in non recurrent GCTB group(P<0.05).There was no significant correlation between the expression of Ki-67 in GCTB and gender, age, tumor location and tumor size(P>0.05).There was no significant correlation in Jaffe grade I,II and III(P>0.05);There was a negative correlation with p63 protein expression(P=0.001<0.05,r_s=-0.324).2.The expression level of p63 in GCTB was significantly higher than that in adjacent normal bone tissue(P<0.05).The expression level of p63 in recurrent GCTB group was significantly lower than that in non recurrent GCTB group(P<0.05).The expression of p63 in GCTB had no significant correlation with gender, age, tumor location and tumor size(P>0.05),but had no significant correlation with Jaffe grade I,II and III(P>0.05);3.There was no correlation between Campanacci grade and gender, age and tumor location in GCTB(P>0.05).There was no significant correlation between Campanacci grade and Jaffe grade I,II and III(P>0.05),and there was significant correlation between Campanacci grade and maximum diameter of tumor(P<0.05).With the increase of Campanacci grade, the recurrence rate increased, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);Campanacci grade was negatively correlated with p63 protein expression(P<0.001,r_s=-0.352).There was a positive correlation between Campanacci grading and Ki-67 protein expression(P=0.047<0.05,r_s=0.664).[Conclusions]1.The expression of p63 and Ki-67 in giant cell tumor of bone may be related to its biological behavior and postoperative recurrence;2.Campanacci imaging classification may be helpful to evaluate the risk of recurrence of giant cell tumor of bone;3.Campanacci grade of giant cell tumor of bone is related to p63 and Ki-67 protein expression.Comprehensive analysis of the results may help to evaluate the prognosis of giant cell tumor of bone. |
