The outbreak and spread of epidemics are related to the rise and fall of a country, the rise and fall of the economy, and the survival of a nation. Therefore, the vast majority of countries in the world put the prevention and control of epidemic disasters in a very important position.Through the research on the frequency of epidemic outbreaks, population loss, the temporal and spatial distribution of epidemic disasters in Shandong during the Republic of China, and the impact of epidemic disasters on the rural economy of Shandong in the Republic of China, this paper tries to serve the current world, and how to overcome the new crown epidemic in today’s society and reduce large-scale epidemics. The outbreak and prevalence of epidemics play a certain role for reference.During the period of the Republic of China,Shandong was almost free of epidemics all year round and everywhere. The frequency and scope of epidemics were rare in history. In terms of time,in the short period of 38 years of the Republic of China, there were 34 large-scale epidemics with more than 1,000 sick people,of which the most frequent outbreaks occurred around the 1940 s.From the perspective of the four seasons of the year, summer and autumn were the most concentrated outbreaks of epidemics in Shandong during the Republic of China. In terms of the outbreak cycle of epidemic disasters, epidemic disasters in Shandong showed a long-term upward trend during the Republic of China, and generally speaking, the severity of epidemic disasters was proportional to the number of outbreaks of epidemic disasters. In terms of space, the distribution of epidemic disasters in Shandong during the Republic of China was very wide, and the main distribution areas were Jiaodong, central and southern Shandong, and northern areas of Shandong Peninsula. In terms of the degree of harm, large and small epidemics during the Republic of China brought a total economic loss of about 6 trillion yuan to Shandong.During the period of the Republic of China, the terrain, lakes, rivers, climate and natural disasters in Shandong were all natural factors that caused the outbreak and prevalence of epidemics. In addition, social and environmental factors in Shandong, such as transportation, population, culture, customs, and medical level, are also closely related to the epidemic. Therefore, under the combined effect of natural and social human factors,Shandong epidemics showed a high incidence during the Republic of China. In recent years, with the outbreak and prevalence of the new crown epidemic,it has made people realize that even in such a developed society, the epidemic still has a strong destructive power on the economy, society and people’s production and life.During the period of the Republic of China, epidemic disasters in Shandong were very frequent, which had a great impact on the rural economy of Shandong and the production and life of farmers, mainly reflected in the massive loss of population, the decline in agricultural productivity, the lack of production materials and the abandonment of arable land, agricultural harvest failures and soaring grain prices.,the prevalence of usury and social class changes, land transfer and mergers and so on.By summarizing the occurrence and distribution of epidemic disasters, combining with relevant economic theories, and taking the impact of epidemic disasters on the rural economy of Shandong during the Republic of China as the final destination, this paper can provide a very important reference for the current fight against the new crown epidemic in Shandong and even the whole country.value.In a word, this article focuses on the combination of the two major factors of“epidemic disaster and economy”.Through systematic discussion,we try to implement the research of epidemic disaster on the economic and social response,in order to be useful to the world.,serving the current.
