| Objective The model endolymphatic hydrops(EH)was prepared by intraperitoneal injection of arginine vasopressin.Observation of Moxibustion at Baihui(GV 20)single acupoint and Tinggong(SI 19)single acupoint in aural vertigo rat model of EH treatment.Comparison of their effects on cochlear morphology in a rat model of EH,and evaluate the therapeutic effect.The intervention effect of moxibustion at the expression of aquaporin 2 and the change of plasma vasopressin level in the rat model of EH was detected.Methods 30 Wistar rats were randomly separated 6 rats as blank control group,the remaining 24 rats made for EH models.After successful modeling,EH models were randomly devided into four groups:the model group(n=6),the Tolvaptan treatment group(n=6),moxibustion at acupoint SI 19 group(n=6),moxibustion at acupoint GV 20 group(n=6).The four groups were dealt with corresponding treatments once a day for 10 days.The following indications of each group after treatment:(1)The ratio of the cross section area of membranous cochlea and that of membranous cochlea and scala vestibule.(2)Level changes of AVP in rat plasma.(3)The expression of AQP-2 at striae vascularis.Results(1)Compared with the blank control group,the ratio in the model group increased significantly(P<0.01).Compared with the model group,the three treatment group reduce significantly(P<0.01).(2)Compared with the blank control group,the plasma vasopressin levels in the model control group were increased significantly(P<0.01).Compared with the model control group,the levels of vasopressin in Tolvaptan treatment group,moxibustion at acupoint SI 19 group and moxibustion at acupoints GV 20 group were significantly decreased(P<0.05,P<0.01).Compared with Tolvaptan treatment group,moxibustion at acupoint SI 19 group was significantly decreased(P<0.05).(3)Compared with the blank control group,the ratio in the model group increased significantly(P<0.01).Compared with the model group,Tolvaptan treatment group,moxibustion at acupoint SI 19 group,moxibustion at acupoints GV 20 group,their expression of AQP-2 increased significantly(P<0.01).Conclusions(1)moxibustion at acupoints SI 19 and moxibustion at acupoint GV 20 group can reduce the rat EH condition,and improve the function of cochlea.The rat EH improved moxibustion at acupoint SI 19 group was better than that of moxibustion at acupoint GV 20 group.(2)moxibustion at acupoint SI 19 group,moxibustion at acupoint GV 20 group can make rat cochlear stria vascularis AQP-2 expression was significantly reduced,and moxibustion at acupoint SI 19 group the plasma AVP level is reduced,said may the rat EH treatment mechanism may be related to the regulation of AQP-2 and AVP levels. |
