Objective:Through the clinical observation of Xifeng Huazhuo Decoction on treating Liver-yang hyperactivity with phlegm and blood stasis syndrome in migraine, evaluate objectively its clinical efficacy and safety, and provide a set of effective treatment programs for the clinic.Method:The 90 patients who met the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with45 cases in each group. The treatment group was given Xifeng Huazhuo decoction, using water to decoct, and one dose per day;the control group was given Flunarizine Hydrochloride Capsules, and 10 mg was taken orally every night. After taking the medicine for 5 days,it was changed to 5mg per night. The course of treatment were 4 weeks, and followed up 3 months after the end of treatment. Then analysis the clinical efficacy, clinical symptom scores,TCM syndrome scores and NRS scores after the end of treatment and follow-up,and TCM syndrome scores and NRS scores were evaluated once in 2 weeks of treatment. Results:A total of 90 patients were enrolled in the study, three patients fell off due to loss of follow-up during the study period, including 1 patient in the treatment group and 2 patients in the control group.1.Clinical symptom scores:(1)total scores:intra-group comparison, the two groups both have statistically significant differences(P<0.05);there werestatistically significant differences between the groups at 4 weeks of treatment and follow-up(P<0.05).(2)individual symptom scores:intra-group comparison, the two groups both have statistically significant differences(P<0.05);there were statistically significant differences in the degree of headache and accompanying symptoms between the groups at 4 weeks of treatment and at follow-up(P<0.05),there was no statistically significant difference between the groups in the number and duration of headache attacking(P>0.05).At the end of the treatment, the cure rate of the treatment group was 20.45%,and the total effective rate was 88.64%;the cure rate of the control group was6.98%,and the total effective rate was 67.44%.At follow-up,the cure rate of the treatment group was 18.18%,and the total effective rate was 81.82%;the cure rate of the control group was 0%,and the total effective rate was 48.84%.2.TCM syndrome scores:intra-group comparison, the two groups both have statistically significant differences(P<0.05);there were statistically significant differences between the two groups at 2 weeks,4 weeks, and follow-up(P<0.05).At the end of the treatment, the cure rate of the treatment group was 25%,and the total effective rate was 90.91%;the cure rate of the control group was 9.3%,and the total effective rate was 69.77%.At follow-up,the cure rate of the treatment group was 22.73%,and the total effective rate was 84.09%;the cure rate of the control group was 2.33%,and the total effective rate was 53.49%.3.NRS scores:intra-group comparison, the two groups both have statistically significant differences(P<0.05);there were significant differences between the two groups at 2 weeks,4 weeks, and follow-up(P<0.05).Conclusion:The study found that compared with Flunarizine Hydrochloride Capsules,Xifeng Huazhuo Decoction can significantly improve the clinical symptoms(especially headache degree and accompanying symptoms),TCM clinical syndrome and NRS condition of migraineur with liver-yang hyperactivity with phlegm and blood stasis syndrome, the clinical efficacy was more significant, and at the time of follow-up,compared with treatment group, the total effective rate of clinical symptoms and the total effective rate of TCM syndromes of the control group have a greater decline than at the end of treatment. It shows that Xifeng Huazhuo Decoction has more permanent efficacy and higher clinical application value.
