Observation Of The Effect Of Qianzheng Powder And Yuping Powder On The Peripheral Facial Paralysis And Its Effect On Electromyography

Objective: To observe the curative effect of Qianzheng Powder and Yupingfeng Powder on peripheral facial paralysis and the changes of electroneurogram and blink reflex before and after treatment,so as to find an effective and safe treatment method and objective evaluation of curative effect for peripheral facial paralysis.Methods: from June 2017 to December 2018,70 patients with peripheral facial paralysis who met the criteria of inclusion and exclusion were selected and divided into treatment group(n=35)and control group(n=35).The control group was treated with hormone,anti-virus and nutritive nerve,and the treatment group was treated with Qianzheng Powder and Yupingfeng Powder on the basis of the control group.After 2 courses of treatment,the curative effect,the amplitude and latency of ENG,and the latency of BR were observed after treatment in the treatment group and the control group.All data are analyzed by SPSS21.0 statistical software.Results: in the course of the study,there were 3 cases dropped out of the study,and 67 cases of patient data were counted,33 cases in the treatment group and 34 cases in the control group.There was no significant differencein age,sex,course of disease,grade of facial function and EMG between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).The total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.96% and the total effective rate of the control group was85.29%.The Mann-Whitney U analysis between the two groups showed that the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).The abnormal rate of early ENG was 77.14.After treatment,the latent time and and the amplitude of ENG were tested by independent t-test(P<0.05),which indicated that the treatment group was superior to the control group in shortening the latent time and increasing amplitude of facial nerve.The abnormal rate of early detection of BR was 100%.There was no significant difference between the two groups in the number of abnormal cases of BR latency after treatment(P>0.05),which indicated that there was no significant difference between the two groups in improving BR latency.The safety indexes of blood routine,liver function and kidney function were compared between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05),which indicated that the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis with Qianzheng Powder and Yupingfeng Powder was safe and without harmful damage to human body.There were no adverse reaction events affecting the experiment during treatment in both groups.Conclusion: the Qianzheng Powder and Yupingfeng Powder can effectively treat peripheral facial paralysis,can shorten the latent time and increase amplitude of ENG,and can not significantly improve the number of abnormal cases of latent time of BR.The abnormal rate of early BR higher than ENG.
