The Impact Of Aging Population On Employee Medical Insurance Fund Expenditure

Since the reform and open policy,our country’s economy and the development of comprehensive national strength has made remarkable achievements,thereby to an ageing population trends,international for aging is the accepted standard of the country or region 10% population over the age of 60 or 65 people aged above accounted for more than 7% of the proportion of the population is called up ageing standards.According to official statistics,China’s population aged 65 or above reached 166.58 million in 2018,accounting for 11.9 percent of China’s total population,far exceeding the 7 percent standard.An aging population will bring the balance of medical insurance fund balance of payments problem,social medical insurance in many countries due to the balance of payments imbalances and bring huge fiscal deficits and unsustainable,on the other hand,the growth of the income,medical costs are growing too fast,the health policy adjustment has the hysteresis effect,the change of the disease(chronic)as well as the induced demand caused by the method of payment is not enough reasonable risk factors exist,in parts of our country town worker is basic medical insurance fund balance of payments imbalance has appeared.Especially,the aggravation of population aging makes the medical insurance fund face greater pressure,so the research on the medical insurance fund expenditure is particularly important.In this paper,we study in 31 provinces and autonomous regions in 2007-2017 panel data as the foundation,according to certain standard in 31 provinces and municipalities and autonomous regions can be divided into the eastern,central and western three areas,first using kernel density estimation to explore the medical insurance fund expenditure and the difference between the aging of the population area,using linear regression model,then find out the influence of urban employee basic medical insurance fund spending significant factors,and explore the causes of the differences,and then considering the differences between the three regions,for each region to provide the reference for the sustainable development of the medical insurance fund,learn from each other between each other to promote the development of China’s medical security.
