| Objective: To observe the clinical effect of non-invasive spinal decompression system combined with oral traditional Chinese medicine Shentong Zhuyu Decoction in the treatment of blood stasis type lumbar disc herniation,to create an economic, safe and effective scheme based on its pathogenesis, and to provide new ideas and new methods for clinical treatment of lumbar disc herniation. Methods: 66 patients with lumbar disc herniation were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,33 in each group. The experimental group was treated with spinal non-invasive decompression system combined with oral traditional Chinese medicine Shentong Zhuyu decoction. The control group was treated with conventional scheme(oral Fuyuan Huoxue decoction combined with three-dimensional traction). The pain VAS score and JOA score were evaluated before treatment,2 weeks after treatment,4 weeks after treatment(end of treatment)and 1 month after treatment respectively. The clinical efficacy was evaluated at the end of treatment.MRI examination of lumbar spine was performed before and at the end of treatment, and the size of intervertebral disc protrusion before and after treatment was measured. All the above data were analyzed by SPSS22.0 statistical software.Results:1.No shedding cases occurred in the two groups, and complete research data were obtained.2.The effective rate of the experimental group was 93.9%,and that of the control group was 78.8%.the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.There was no significant difference in VAS score and JOA score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).with the prolongation of treatment time,VAS score and JOA score gradually improved, especially in the experimental group. At the 1-month follow-up after treatment, the VAS score of the two groups of patients increased slightly and the JOA score decreased slightly compared with that at the end of treatment, there was no significant difference in VAS score between the two groups at the end of treatment and 1 month after treatment(P>0.05),and there was no significant difference between the JOA score at the end of treatment and that at the end of treatment(P>0.05).The difference between the VAS score of the other time points in the two groups and that in the JOA score group was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference between the two groups of patients after 2 weeks,at the end of treatment and 1 month after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.There was no significant difference in the length of sagittal protrusion and the area of transverse protrusion between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).There was significant difference in the length and area of protrusion between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),and there was significant difference between the two groups at the end of treatment(P<0.05).5.The two groups of patients did not have any adverse reactions such as obvious aggravation of symptoms, dizziness, and blue and purple skin during the whole treatment process, indicating that the two schemes are safe.Conclusion:1.Spinal non-invasive decompression system combined with oral traditional Chinese medicine Shentong Zhuyu decoction and conventional treatment(oral Fuyuan Huoxue decoction combined with three-dimensional traction)can improve lumbar leg pain and lumbar function of patients with blood stasis type lumbar disc herniation.2.Spinal non-invasive decompression system combined with oral traditional Chinese medicine Shentong Zhuyu Decoction is su perior to the conventional treatment scheme of the control group in improving VAS score,JOA score and reducing the size of disc herniation in patients with blood stasis type lumbar disc herniation.3.Non-operative therapy can reduce the size of lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion and promote the retraction of protrusion..4.These two schemes are safe and effective in treating blood stasis type lumbar disc herniation, and the experimental group is superior to the control group. |
