Group Practical Study On Improvement Of Body Image Of The Postoperative Women With Breast Cancer

Breast cancer patients will face a series of physiological and psychological problems after surgery,in which the permanent changes of individual external image and the side effects of follow-up rehabilitation treatment will seriously affect the level of body image of patients.Taking the breast cancer surgical patients in Z Hospital of Hubei Province as an example,the author carried out group work in the Department to help the group members increase social support,and then improve the body image level of the group members.The author hopes that through the practice of clinical medical social work,to explore a feasible way of practical intervention to improve the welfare of breast cancer patients.There are five parts in this paper.The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background of this paper.This part expounds the reasons and research significance of this topic,reviews the domestic and foreign research on the postoperative body image of breast cancer patients,and introduces the core concepts,research methods and innovations of this paper.The second part introduces the body image of patients in breast Department of Z hospital.Based on the analysis of the interview results,this paper summarizes the current situation of patients’ body image in the breast Department of Z hospital,and expounds other factors that affect patients’ body image after operation.The third part is the preparation of group work.First of all,it analyzes the feasibility of carrying out social work group in the Department;secondly,it introduces the main theoretical basis of this group activity;thirdly,it describes the formation process of the group;finally,it gives the design scheme of the group activity.The fourth part is the practical process of the whole group,which introduces the specific content of the seven group activities in detail,and explains the process of closing and evaluating the group activities.The fifth part is the reflection and discussion of the whole practice process.From the perspective of the full text,it analyzes the key points and difficulties of improving the body image of breast cancer patients after surgery,summarizes the activity content setting and the experience of dealing with emotional emergencies in the practice process,discussed the role of social support in promoting patients’ body image.The purpose of this study is to explore a more effective way of group work to intervene the body image of breast cancer patients after surgery,and to provide some practical experience for related clinical medical social work.Through group activities,we can help breast cancer patients improve their body image level,get more social support for them,help them effectively deal with a series of problems caused by body image change,so that they can get out of the dilemma and recover their physical and mental health as soon as possible.
