The Influence Of Standardized Treatment Of Cancer Pain On The Usage And The Management Of Narcotic Drugs In A Major Hospital

Objective:To investigate the influence of standardized treatment of cancer pain on the usage and the management of narcotic drugs in a major hospital.In order to establish the work pattern in cancer pain management.Methods:To collect the narcotic drugs dosage,DDDs before and after the standardized treatment of cancer pain was established in a major hospital through HIS system.Randomly collect 40 anesthesia prescriptions of oncology department every month,analyze the rate of prescription writing quality qualified and the rate of unreasonable use.At the same time,70 patients with cancer pain before and after standardized treatment were randomly collected as the research objects,and the knowledge level,drug cost,pain score and treatment satisfaction of cancer pain in the two groups were analyzed.Results:After the standardized treatment of cancer pain was established,the dosage and DDDs of oxycodone sustained-release tablets,morphine tablets and morphine for injection were increased.However,the dosage and DDDs of morphine sustained-release tablets,fentanyl transdermal patch and pethidine for injection were decreased.After the standardized treatment of cancer pain was established,the rate of prescription writing quality qualified was significantly higher than that before,while the rate of unreasonable was significantly lower(P<0.05).After the standardized treatment of cancer pain was established,the cost of narcotic drugs for patients was significantly lower than that before(P<0.05).After the standardized treatment of cancer pain was established,the score of narcotic knowledge was significantly higher than that before(P<0.05).After the standardized treatment of cancer pain was established,the influence scores of cancer pain was significantly lower than that before(P<0.05).After the standardized treatment of cancer pain was established,the satisfaction with pain management was significantly higher than that before(P<0.05).Conclusion:Standardized treatment of cancer pain could significantly improve the rational application rate of narcotic drugs and improve the quality of doctors’ prescription writing.It could improve the patients’ knowledge level of anesthesia drugs,reduced the economic burden of patients and society,and significantly improved patients’ satisfaction and quality of life for cancer pain treatment.
