Clinical Study Of Yiqi Jianpi Gufei Granules On Children’s Cough Variant Asthma Belongs To Deficiency Of Lung And Spleen In Remission Period

Objective:Through the application of Yiqi Jianpi Gufei granules on children’s cough variant asthma(CVA)belongs to deficiency of lung and spleen in remission period,the effectiveness and safety of the treatment were compared with that of fluticasone propionate inhalation aerosol,so as to open up ideas for the treatment of CVA in children with traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:60 children with CVA in remission period were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group.Treatment group was given Yiqi Jianpi gufei granules,control group was given fluticasone propionate inhalation aerosol.Both groups were treated for 2 months and followed up for 6 months.Before and after treatment,TCM syndromes(main symptoms:easy to catch cold,self perspiration,lack of food,abdominal distention,abnormal stool;secondary symptoms:fatigue,abdominal pain,sallow complexion)score,peak expiratory flow rate(PEF)and blood EOS improvement were compared,and CVA recurrence(recurrence frequency,drecurrence course,recurrence condition)was followed up for 6 months.Results:After two months of treatment,TCM syndrome score,PEF and EOS were improved significantly(P<0.05).The difference between the two groups in TCM syndrome score and EOS was statistically significant(P<0.05),the treatment group was better than the control group;in PEF,the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).After 6 months follow-up,the recurrence of CVA was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).No significant adverse reactions occurred in both groups.Conclusions:Yiqi Jianpi gufei granules can effectively improve the TCM syndrome,PEF,EOS and CVA relapse in children belongs to deficiency of lung and spleen in remission period,without adverse reactions.Compared with fluticasone propionate inhalation aerosol,Yiqi Jianpi gufei granules has more advantages and is worthy of clinical promotion.
