| Objective: Investigate the clinical efficacy and safety that the Qingwei Huashi Decoction has on Functional Dyspepsia(FD)(Weipi,spleenstomach damp-heat syndrome).Methods: Divide 64 patients with FD(Weipi,spleen-stomach damp-heat syndrome)into two groups randomly: treatment group and contrast group,treat them with Qingwei Huashi Decoction and mosapride citrate tablets respectively,within a period of treatment of four weeks and collect data obtained from these two groups to perform statistics and analysis.Results: The overall efficacy rates of the treatment group contrast group are 90.3% and 74.2%,respectively with TCM syndrome efficacy and TCM syndrome total accumulated points improvement of the treatment group being significantly superior to those of the contrast group(P<0.01),improvement in dry mouth,bitter taste and scanty yellowish urine of the treatment group being significantly superior to that of the contrast group(P<0.01),improvement of anorexia and nausea of the treatment group being superior to that of the contrast group(P<0.05),having no significant difference in improvement in anorexia and nausea,heaviness sensation in limbs and sleepiness,nausea and vomiting between two groups(P>0.05),the improvement in anxiety of the treatment group being superior to that of the contrast group(P<0.05),and having no significant difference in improvement in depression between two groups(P>0.05).the safety indexes before and after treatment of both groups are within normal range,with no obvious ADR/ADE.Conclusion: Qingwei Huashi Decoction has positive efficacy to treat FD(Weipi,spleen-stomach damp-heat syndrome),being able to improve the anxious and depressed mood of the patient with good safety. |
