Objective:Through the clinical efficacy study of buzhong yiqi decoction and its combination in the treatment of primary Sjogren’s syndrome with deficiency of Qi and Yin to discuss the clinical feasibility of using "replenishing qi and promoting Yang, nourishing yin to reduce pathogenic fire" prescription to treat primary Sjogren’s syndrome with deficiency of Qi and Yin based on the theory of "spleen rising and stomach falling".Methods:60 patients with primary Sjogren’s syndrome with deficiency of Qi and Yin who meet the requirements of the experiments were randomly divided into traditional Chinese medicine group(30 cases)and Western medicine group(30 cases),traditional Chinese medicine group with buzhong yiqi decoction and its combination,Western medicine group with hydroxychloroquine. The indexes of patients in the TCM group and western medicine group were recorded before administration and 6 months after treatment, and the data were statistically analyzed.Symptom determination indexes include TCM symptom score, salivary flow rate and filter paper test;Laboratory indicators include rheumatoid factor,c-reactive protein, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, immunoglobulin(mainly IgG),interleukin-17;Safety indexes include blood routine test, urine routine test, liver function test, kidney function test, fundus test and adverse reactions.observation indexes before and after treatment in the traditional Chinese medicine group and the Western medicine group. Results:The traditional Chinese medicine group could effectively reduce dry mouth VAS score, dry eye VAS score and TCM syndrome score(p<0.05),improve the level of filter paper test and saliva flow rate(p<0.05),and reduce the level of CRP(p<0.05),which was better than the western medicine group(p<0.05).The levels of ESR,RF,IgG and IL-17 could be decreased(p<0.05),but there was no significant advantage compared with the western medicine group(p>0.05).The effective rate of the traditional Chinese medicine group was significantly higher than that of the western medicine group, and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).The safety indexes of the two groups before and after treatment showed no obvious abnormality. Conclusion:Buzhong yiqi decoction and its combination has obvious clinical effect on primary Sjogren’s syndrome with deficiency of Qi and Yin.It can improve the clinical symptoms of dry mouth and dry eyes, reduce the levels of ESR,CRP,RF,Ig-G and IL-17,and without obvious adverse reactions.
