| ObjectiveThe purpose of this topic is to study the clinical research on the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy by relaxing-adjustment-traction method, and to observe the clinical efficacy of the method of relaxing-adjustment-traction method to treat cervical spondylotic radiculopathy, and to compare it with conventional tuina technique treatments to observe the difference in efficacy between the two.Preliminarily explore the mechanism of relaxing-adjustment-traction method in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy,it is expected to provide a foundation for further study and clinical application of the mechanism.MethodsThis study selected 72 patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy who met the inclusion criteria and divided them into a control group of 36 cases and a test group of 36 cases using a random number table. The control group was treated with conventional tuina technique, and the test group was treated with relaxing-adjustment-traction method The treatment time of the two groups of patients was 20 minutes, once a day,5 times a week,10 times as a course of treatment. After the end of the course of treatment, the pain visual analog scale(VAS),joint range of motion(ROM)and the 20-point scale of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy were compared before and after treatment in the same group and between groups after treatment, and statistical analysis were performed.Result1.Comparison of VAS pain scores: Before treatment, the VAS pain scores of the two groups were compared,P=0.150>0.05.After treatment, both groups could improve the pain symptoms(P<0.01),but the VAS pain score of the test group was lower than that of the control group(Z=-2.758,P=0.006<0.01).2.Comparison of cervical joint mobility: Comparison of range of motion(ROM)in 6directions of the cervical spine in the two groups before treatment, anterior flexion(t=-0.370,P=0.712),posterior extension(t=0.420,P=0.676),left flexion(t=1.231,P=0.223),right flexion(t=-0.187,P= 0.852),left rotate(t =0.412,P= 0.682),right rotation(t =-0.142,P=0.888)(all P> 0.05).The joint range of motion(ROM)after treatment in the two groups was improved compared with that before treatment(P<0.05).After treatment, anterior flexion(t=3.998,P=0.000),posterior extension(t=2.957,P=0.004),left rotation(t=2.664,P=0.010)range of motion were compared between groups(P<0.05);while left flexiont(t=1.466,P=0.148),right flexion(t=1.894,P=0.063),and right rotation(t=0.58,P=0.564)were compared between the two groups(P>0.05).3.Comparison of the scores on the 20-point scale of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy: The scores of each item in the 20-point scale scores of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy of the two groups before treatment(symptoms score: Z=-0.897,P=0.370,signs score: Z=-1.425,P=0.154,work and life ability: Z=-0.037,P=0.970,hand function:Z=-1.508,P=0.132)and the total score of the scale(total score: Z=-1.056,P=0.291)comparison(P>0.05).After treatment, the scores of each item in the 20-point scale of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy and the total score of the scale increased compared with those before treatment(all P<0.05).Comparison between groups after treatment: symptoms score(Z=-2.308,P=0.021),signs score(Z=-2.14,P=0.032),work and life ability score(Z=-2.616,P=0.009),hand the functional score(Z=-3.461,P=0.001),the total scale score(Z=-3.519,P=0.000)(P<0.05).4.Comparison of clinical efficacy: After 1 course of treatment,5 people were cured in the treatment group,11 people were markedly effective,12 people were effective, and 4people were ineffective. The total effective rate was 87.50%;in the control group,2 people were cured,5 people were markedly effective,20 people were effective, and 7 people were ineffective. The total effective rate was 79.41%.Comparison of clinical efficacy between the two groups,Z=-2.251,P=0.024<0.05.Conclusion1.Both relaxing-adjustment-traction method and conventional tuina technique can effectively treat patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy. Both can alleviate the patient’s symptoms, improve the function of the cervical spine and hand, and improve the work and life ability of the patient.2.By observing the VAS score, joint range of motion(ROM),20-point scale score of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy and clinical effective rate after treatment in the two groups, the clinical efficiency and improvement of pain, anterior flexion, posterior extension, left rotation, symptoms, signs, work and life ability, and hand function, the test group is better than the control group, and there are no obvious adverse reactions in the two groups,it shows that the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy by relaxing-adjustment-traction method is better than conventional tuina, and the curative effect is more accurate, and it is worthy of further research and promotion in clinical practice. |
