Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Vertigo Caused By Vertebrobasilar Insufficiency With Tianchong Dingxuan Yin

Objective:By observing the changes of TCM symptom scores,European vertigo scale scores and fibrinogen before and after taking Tianchong Dingxuan Yin,we can understand the clinical effect and safety of Tianchong Dingxuan Yin,and provide data support for its clinical application and further scientific research.Methods:From January,2020 to December,2020,60 inpatients in Department of Neurology and Geriatrics,Affiliated Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Southwest Medical University were selected and randomly divided into 30 treatment groups and 30 control groups.The two groups were given flunarizine hydrochloride capsules as basic anti-vertigo treatment,while the control group was only given oral flunarizine hydrochloride capsules,once a day,while the treatment group was given oral Tianchong Dingxuan Yin(pill),10 g each time,three times a day,for 14 days.This topic needs to strictly record the TCM symptom scores,European vertigo scale scores,fibrinogen and vital signs changes of the treatment group and the control group before and after taking the medicine,and the data are statistically adopted by SPSS25.0software.Results:1.Baseline indicators of the two groups: After statistical analysis,there is no statistical difference between the treatment group and the control group in terms of gender,age,basic diseases,etc.(P > 0.05),which is comparable.2.Comparison of clinical efficacy between the two groups: both groups are effective in improving vertigo caused by phlegm and blood stasis.The total effective rate was 96.7% in the treatment group and 76.7% in the control group,with statistical significance(P < 0.05).3.Comparison of total TCM syndrome scores between the two groups: the total TCM syndrome scores of the two groups after treatment decreased compared with those before treatment(P < 0.05);After treatment,the total score of TCM syndrome in the treatment group decreased more significantly than that in the control group(P <0.05).After treatment,the scores of dizziness,attack frequency,nausea and vomiting,headache,headache,insomnia,rotation of vision,numbness or tingling of limbs,tongue quality and pulse condition in the two groups decreased compared with those before treatment(P < 0.05).There was no statistical difference in tinnitus symptoms between the two groups(P > 0.05),and the symptoms of dizziness,headache and tongue quality in the treatment group were better than those in the control group.4.Comparison of EEV scores between the two groups.After treatment,the scores of EEV scale in both groups decreased compared with those before treatment(P < 0.05).By comparison between the two groups,it is found that the EEV score of the treatment group go down more obviously than that of the control group(P <0.05),and the treatment group could better improve the symptoms related to vertigo than the control group.5.Comparison of fibrinogen between the two groups: the fibrinogen values of the two groups decreased compared with those before treatment(P < 0.05),and the fibrinogen in the treatment group decreased more obviously after treatment(P < 0.05).6.There were no adverse reactions in the two groups during the treatment and after the test.Conclusion:1.Tianchong Dingxuan Decoction can effectively improve the main symptoms of vertebrobasilar insufficiency vertigo caused by phlegm and blood stasis,and its clinical effect is good,and there is no adverse reaction during medication,so it is safe.2.Tianchong Dingxuan Yin can better improve the TCM symptom score and the European Vertigo Scale score.3.Tianchong Dingxuan Decoction can better improve the accompanying symptoms such as headache and headache and improve the patients’ quality of life than Western medicine alone.4.Tianchong Dingxuan Decoction can improve fibrinogen and tongue quality,and it is superior to simple western medicine,which shows that it has stronger power of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis,and can better reduce blood viscosity and improve vascular microcirculation.5.Under the guidance of Xuanfu theory,Tianchong Dingxuan Yin is formulated with wind medicine and insect medicine as the main synergistic effect.It has a definite clinical effect in treating vertigo caused by vertebrobasilar insufficiency,which deserves further study and excavation.
