Discussion On Clinical Experience Of Professor Shan Zhaowei In Treating Functional Constipation Based On Data Mining

Purpose:Based on the data mining method,Professor Shan Zhaowei’s rules of medication and prescription in functional constipation are studied in this paper.Prof.Shan’s academic views are summarized,providing new ideas for the treatment of functional constipation with traditional Chinese medicine.Method:The outpatient records of Prof.Shan Oct.2016 to Dec.2020 are collected.Records are screened according to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria.A total of 162 cases with 359 consultations meet the requirements.Medical records are standardized recorded into the TCM Inheritance Assistance Platform(V2.5).Through frequency analysis,association analysis,entropy cluster analysis and other methods,the basic information,syndrome differentiation,prescription and medication were studied.Result:A total of 162 patients are investigated,including 60 males(37%)and 102 females(63%)with ages ranging from 4 to 88 years old.The age of 31-40 years old accounts for 21.4%as the highest proportion.The six syndromes with the highest frequency are listed in turn,including spleen and stomach Qi deficiency syndrome,spleen deficiency dampness-heat syndrome,spleen-kidney Yang deficiency syndrome,deficiency of both Qi and Yin,dampness-heat accumulation,and Qi&blood deficiency syndrome.Conclusion:In the treatment of functional constipation with TCM,tonifying Qi and invigorating the spleen,promoting lung and moistening the intestines,and regulating Qi stagnation are applied as Prof.Shan’s main methods.Based on accurate syndrome differentiation simple but precise medicine,gentle prescription and flexible formulation,Prof.Shan provides a new view for the treatment of functional constipation by TCM.
