Objective:This study aims to observe the clinical efficacy of the method of replenishing qi and nourishing the kidney on patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary in stable period pulmonary function of grade Ⅲ to Ⅳ,and to explore the advantages of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of patients with severe and extremely COPD in stable period, and to provide clinical intervention for the progress of the disease And to lay the foundation for improving the quality of life of patients. Methods:In this study,a randomized controlled research method was adopted, and 96 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group.48 patients in the control group were treated with Western medicine standard treatment;48 patients in the observation group were treated with Yiqi Zishen Decoction on the basis of Western medicine standard treatment. The course of treatment was 3 months and a total of 2 courses were observed. After the end of the observation period, the two groups of patients were statistically analyzed on the changes in symptoms(total scores of TCM syndromes, scores of main symptoms, and scores of secondary symptoms),changes in quality of life(CAT score, dyspnea classification, and 6-minute walking distance),number of acute exacerbations, and lung function In terms of changes, compare whether there are differences and advantages and disadvantages in the efficacy of the two groups. Results:The symptoms of the two groups were improved after treatment. The total scores of TCM syndromes in both groups were lower than before treatment(P<0.05),while the decrease in the observation group was more significant(P<0.05).The symptoms of cough, expectoration, chest tightness, wheezing, shortness of breath, and fatigue were all improved in the two groups(P<0.05).The observation group also had symptoms of sweating, susceptibility to colds, weakness in the waist and knees, dry mouth and pharynx, frequent nocturia, dizziness and tinnitus.Improved, while the above symptoms in the control group did not change significantly(P>0.05).After treatment, the CAT scores of the two groups were lower than before, and there was no significant difference between the groups(P<0.05).After treatment, the observation group’s 6-minute walking distance increased significantly, and the dyspnea classification decreased(P<0.05).The control group had no significant improvement in the dyspnea classification and 6-minute walking distance(P>0.05).During the treatment period, the number of acute attacks in the observation group was less than that in the control group(P<0.05).FEV1%in the observation group was higher than before(P<0.05),and FVC%and FEV1%in the control group were lower than before(P<0.05).The one-second rate of the two groups and the FVC%of the observation group did not change significantly(P>0.05).Conclusion:Yiqi Zishen Decoction combined with Western medicine inhalation therapy can effectively reduce the clinical symptoms of patients, reduce the number of acute exacerbations, reduce the risk of acute exacerbations, improve the prognosis, and improve the quality of life of patients. The curative effect is better than the single inhalation regimen in the control group.
