Clinical Study On Treatment Of Elderly Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease In Stable Phase With Appropriate TCM Techniques Of "Winter Disease And Summer Treatment"

ObjectiveBased on the idea of treating diseases,and guided by the theory of "Treatment in winter and summer" Chinese medicine,observe the appropriate technical service package of traditional Chinese medicine(acupoint injection + acupoint application + traditional Chinese medicine ointment)for the treatment of stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in the elderly(lung and kidney deficiency)To evaluate the effectiveness of TCM appropriate technical service package for the treatment of stable stage of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in the elderly.Through the promotion of TCM appropriate technical service package treatment program,provide scientific basis for chronic disease management of chronic obstructive pulmonary combined with traditional Chinese and western medicine.MethodsThis trial is a randomized,blank-controlled,single-center superiority trial.A total of60 inpatient/outpatient patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease aged 60 to 85 years old in stable stage(lung and kidney deficiency)are planned to be included in this hospital.They are randomly divided into There were 30 cases in the test group and 30 cases in the control group.Both groups were treated with conventional basic western medicine treatment for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.In terms of basic treatment,the experimental group was treated with a Chinese medicine appropriate technical service package(acupoint injection + acupoint application + Chinese medicinal ointment prescription)from May to October(hot summer).Both groups of patients were followed up for 6 months to observe the safety indicators,the number of acute exacerbations,TCM syndrome scores,CAT scale scores,and BODE index before and after treatment.Use SPSS24.0 software for data analysis.ResultsA total of 60 patients were enrolled,of which 25 were in the test group,27 were in the control group,and 8 were dropped.The baseline conditions of the two groups of patients were not significantly different(P>0.05),and they were comparable.In terms of the number of acute exacerbations,there was a significant difference in the number of acute exacerbations between the two groups of patients at 6 months(P<0.05),and the number of acute exacerbations in winter was less in the experimental group.In terms of TCM syndrome scores,after treatment,the total scores of TCM syndrome scores of patients in the test group were lower than those of the control group,and the total scores of the two groups were statistically different(P<0.05);the treatment effectiveness rate of the test group was 72.00%,The effective rate is 48.15% higher than that of the control group;the difference of the individual symptom scores before and after treatment is compared,and the results show that the scores of "low cough","spontaneous sweating","tongue" and "pulse" items have a significant improvement ratio after treatment Difference(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in the difference of symptom scores between the other two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).In terms of CAT scale scores,the total CAT scores of the test group after treatment were significantly lower than before(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the total CAT scores of the control group before and after treatment(P>0.05);the total CAT scores of the test group after treatment The score was significantly lower than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In terms of BODE index,the FEV1%,BMI,mMRC,and 6MWD scores of the two groups of patients were not significantly different before and after treatment(P>0.05);after treatment,the total BODE scores of the experimental group and the control group were lower than before,But the total score of the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).During the treatment period,2 patients had mild allergic reactions to acupoint application,while other patients had no adverse reactions.ConclusionThe appropriate technical service package of traditional Chinese medicine(acupoint injection + acupoint application + Chinese medicinal ointment)is safe and has fewer adverse reactions.It can effectively reduce the number of acute exacerbations in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in half a year,especially to reduce the number of acute attacks in winter and improve it TCM syndrome score,improve symptoms such as low cough,spontaneous sweating,tongue and pulse condition,improve its CAT score,and reduce the severity of patients’ symptoms.This study provides a scientific theoretical basis for the effectiveness and safety of the "Winter Disease and Summer Treatment" TCM appropriate technology in the prevention and treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in the elderly.
