| Objective(1)To collect the prescriptions for facial paralysis in the Dictionary of Traditional Chinese Medicine Prescription(Second Edition)and analyze the composition and compatibility of the prescriptions by using modern statistical methods,so as to explore the medication laws of ancient doctors’ facial paralysis treatment, and to deduce the pathogenesis of facial paralysis in traditional Chinese medicine by the medication laws.(2)To collect the Qianzhengsan prescriptions for facial paralysis in the Dictionary of Traditional Chinese Medicine Prescription(Second Edition)and analyze the composition and compatibility of the prescriptions by using modern statistical methods,so as to find the similarities and differences between Qianzhengsan and other prescriptions for facial paralysis. In order to provide a theoretical basis for the clinical treatment of nerve palsy with traditional Chinese medicine.MethodsCollect and sort out the facial paralysis prescriptions and Qianzhengsan prescriptions in the Dictionary of Traditional Chinese Medicine Prescription(Second Edition).Enter the name, the provenance, era of completion, composition, four natures, five flavors and channel tropism of the prescriptions in Microsoft Excel 2010 to establish the database.By using the basic statistical function of Microsoft Excel 2010,analyze frequencies on the era of completion of the prescriptions, and also the four natures, five flavors and channel tropism of drugs that the prescriptions contain.By using the software IBM SPSS modeler 18.0,calculate the co-occurrence frequency and analyze the association rules of the drugs that the facial paralysis prescriptions and Qianzhengsan prescriptions contain. The Apriori algorithm will be used as the core algorithm in the association rules analysis.By using the software IBM SPSS statistics 26,cluster the high-frequency drugs of facial paralysis prescriptions and Qianzhengsan prescriptions,Pearson correlation coefficient will be used to measure the similarity between the variables.Use the theory of TCM to analyze the results, and summed up the medication laws of ancient doctors in facial paralysis treatment,as well as the similarities and differences between Qianzhengsan prescriptions and the other facial paralysis prescriptions.ResultsA total of 514 facial paralysis prescriptions were collected, including 37 Qianzhengsan prescriptions. Results of frequencies show that the facial paralysis prescriptions and Qianzhengsan prescriptions are mainly originated in the Song Dynasty, accounting for 48.249%and 45.946%of the total frequency, with Shengji Zonglu and Taiping Shenghui Fang as the main sources. There were 7964 times of drug use in facial paralysis prescriptions, involving 412 kinds of medicine. There were 45 high-frequency drugs with the frequency of drug use greater than or equal to 50 times, accounting for 60.334%of the total frequency of drug use.The top ten most frequently used drugs were Saposhnikoviae Radix, alcohol,Chuanxiong Rhizoma,Rhizoma Gastrodiae,Licorice,Angelicae Sinensis Radix,Ephedra Herba,Scorpion,Arisaematis Rhizoma,Notopterygii Rhizoma Et Radix and ginger; There were 649 times of drug use in Qianzhengsan prescriptions, involving 152 kinds of medicine, except for Scorpion,Bombyx Batryticatus and Typhonii Rhizoma. There were 31 high-frequency drugs with the frequency of drug use greater than or equal to 7 times, accounting for 60.401%of the total frequency of drug use.The top ten most frequently used drugs were Rhizoma Gastrodiae,Saposhnikoviae Radix,Arisaematis Rhizoma,Cinnabar, alcohol,Musk,Ephedra Herba,Notopterygii Rhizoma Et Radix,Chuanxiong Rhizoma,Aconiti Radix and Agkistrodon Acutus. The natures of high-frequency drugs in facial paralysis prescriptions and Qianzhengsan prescriptions were mainly warm, accounting for 51.111%and 54.839%of the total frequency. The flavor of high-frequency drugs in facial paralysis prescriptions and Qianzhengsan prescriptions were mainly pungent, accounting for 43.333%and 45.000%of the total frequency, followed by sweet and bitter. The channel tropism of high-frequency drugs in facial paralysis prescriptions and Qianzhengsan prescriptions were mainly liver channel, accounting for 41.935%and 51.111%,followed by spleen channel, lung channel and heart channel.Co-occurrence frequency showed that {Saposhnikoviae Radix,Chuanxiong Rhizoma},{Saposhnikoviae Radix,Rhizoma Gastrodiae},{Saposhnikoviae Radix,Ephedra Herba} were common high-frequency drug pairs of facial paralysis prescriptions and Qianzhengsan prescriptions. There are 51 and 29 association rules in the facial paralysis prescriptions and Qianzhengsan prescriptions, which are composed of Saposhnikoviae Radix,Chuanxiong Rhizoma,Licorice,Rhizoma Gastrodiae,Ephedra Herba,Angelicae Sinensis Radix,Notopterygii Rhizoma Et Radix,Scorpion,Cinnabar,Musk, alcohol, etc. The drug cluster of the facial paralysis prescriptions and Qianzhengsan prescriptions were composed of the drug groups by the way of wind treatment, blood treatment and tonifying.ConclusionMost of the facial paralysis prescriptions come from Song Dynasty. The pathogenesis of facial paralysis is root deficiency and branch excess, and the main pathological factor is wind, which is caused by wind evil invading facial meridians. The medication rule of ancient doctors in treating facial paralysis was based on wind medicine, which was combined with blood medicine, tonic medicine and channel ushering medicine. The drugs were mainly pungent, warm and liver channel tropism. The common drugs were Saposhnikoviae Radix, alcohol,Chuanxiong Rhizoma,Rhizoma Gastrodiae,Licorice,Angelicae Sinensis Radix,Ephedra Herba,Scorpion Arisaematis Rhizoma,Notopterygii Rhizoma Et Radix, ginger,Cinnabar,Musk,Aconiti Radix,Agkistrodon Acutus, etc.Qianzhengsan is good at expel wind to dredge collateral.Qianzhengsan with wind medicine and tonic medicine can treat various types of facial paralysis in a more comprehensive way. |
