Objective: This article is trying to explore new methods and ideas for the integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment of chronic hepatitis B complicated with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)by observing the clinical treatment of Yugan Xiaozhi Decoction. Methods: 60 patients who are conformed to inclusion criteria were divided into the experimental group and the control group randomly, every group contained 30 cases.Patients in the control group took tenofovir disoproxil fumarate based on the foundation treatment, however, patients in the experimental group took traditional Chinese medicine additionally compared with control group. After 24 weeks of treatment, compare the change of TCM symptoms, hepatic function, blood lipids, blood glucose, virology,CAP,B ultrasonic,BMI,waist-to-hip ratio and so on before and after the treatment of the experimental and control group. Results: 1.Comprehensive efficacy: The comprehensive effective rate of the experimental group and the control group was 93.33% and 70.00%,respectively,and there was a significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.01).2.TCM syndromes: The total scores of the two groups were significantly reduced after 24 weeks’ treatment. The effective rate of the experimental group(100%)is better than the control group(67%),and the difference between the two groups was very significant(P < 0.01).After 24 weeks of treatment, the three TCM syndromes of dull face, sticky mouth and corpora linguae in the experimental group were better than these in the control group(P < 0.05),and the other TCM syndromes in the experimental group were significantly better than the control group(P < 0.01).3.Liver function: The numerical number of alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),alkalinephosphatase(ALP),andγ-glutamylaminotransferase(GGT)in the two groups were all lower than before, and albumin(ALB)were higher, but the efficacy of improving liver function of the experimental group was better than that the control group, with statistical significance(P <0.01).4.Glucose and lipid metabolism: Clinical treatment in both experimental group and control group can improve glucose and lipid metabolism, and the experimental group is better than the control group(P < 0.05).5.HBV DNA quantification: Both the experimental group and the control group could reduce virus replication, and the two groups have difference, comparatively(P < 0.05).6.Imaging examination: Compared with prior treatment,CAP and B-ultrasound of the two groups were significantly improved, and the experimental group was significantly better than the control group(P < 0.01).7.BMI and waist-hip ratio: The decrease of experimental group was more obvious than control group(P < 0.01).8.Safety indicators: There were no obvious abnormal changes in various safety indicators of both experimental group and control group. Conclusion: The combination of phlegm and blood stasis is an important pathogenesis of chronic hepatitis B combined with non-alcoholic fatty liver.Resolving phlegm and dampness, promoting blood circulation and blood stasis, soothing the liver and strengthening the spleen are important treatments for chronic hepatitis B combined with non-alcoholic fatty liver.Yuganxiaozhi decoction has significant efficacy in improving liver function,Glucose and lipid metabolism, virology, imaging,BMI and other indicators and TCM syndromes, with good safety at the same time.
