Objective: To explore the differences in human body composition between patients with Diabetic artery obliterans(DAO)and healthy people,as well as the characteristics of body composition related indexes in patients with DAO blood stasis syndrome and dampness-heat syndrome,and to analyze the correlation between them and the syndrome differentiation and classification of DAO.Methods: This study included 60 patients with DAO who met the diagnosis,i ncluding 30 patients with blood stasis syndrome,30 patients with damp-heat betting syndrome,and 30 healthy subjects.The body composition analyzer was used to m easure the waist-to-hip ratio(WHR),total body water(TBW),Extracellular water to tot al body water ratio(ECW/TBW),body mass index(BMI),percent body fat(PBF),bas al metabolic rate(BMR),visceral fat area(VFA)and other indicators are analyzed by SPSS26.0 statistical software to compare DAO patients with healthy people,as wel l as DAO blood stasis syndrome and dampness-heat syndrome,explore their correla tion,and provide a basis for microscopic syndrome differentiation.Results: 1.In the body composition index,there are significant differences between DAO patients and healthy controls in WHR,BMI,PBF,VFA,ECW/TBW(P<0.05);there is no significant difference between the two in TBW and BMR(P> 0.05).2.Compared with blood stasis syndrome,the DAO dampness-heat syndrome group has significant differences in BMI,PBF,VFA,ECW/TBW(P<0.05).Conclusion: There are correlations between WHR,BMI,PBF,VFA,ECW/TBW and DAO in human body composition,and the correlation in dampness-heat syndrome is particularly obvious.The human body composition index can be used as an index to predict the risk of DAO in healthy populations.To a certain extent,the body composition index can affect the syndrome differentiation of diseases,and it can be considered as an objective theoretical basis for TCM syndrome differentiation.
