| Purpose: To observe the clinical efficacy of Ma Shi Wen Jiu moxibustion and common acupuncture in the treatment of cold-dampness lumbar disc herniation.Methods: Sixty patients with cold and dampness type lumbar disc herniation were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.There are 30 patients in each group.The patients in the treatment group was treated with Ma Shi Wen Jiu moxibustion.Patients in the control group received conventional acupuncture.The two groups were treated for 4 weeks.After four weeks,the statistical scores of the VAS scale,the ODI scale and the JOA scale were compared and compared,and the difference in efficacy between the two groups was observed.Result: After four weeks of treatment,the two groups were compared with the two groups before and after treatment.The scores of VAS scale and ODI scale in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and the JOA scale score were higher than before treatment.The date was statistically significant(P<0.05);After treatment,the VAS scale score,ODI scale scale and JOA scale score group were compared.After treatment,the VAS scale score and the ODI scale score in the treatment group were lower than in the control group.The JOA scale score in the treatment group were higher than of the control group.The data was statistically significant(P<0.05).The improvement rate of JOA scale was compared between the two groups,it found that the improvement rate of JOA in the treatment group was 93.3%,and the improvement rate in the control group was 80.0%.The date were statistically significant(P<0.05).The result shows that both treatment methods were effective for cold and dampness type lumbar disc herniation,but Ma Shi Wen Jiu moxibustion was superior to common acupuncture.Conclusion: Ma Shi Wen Jiu moxibustion has a good clinical effect on the treatment of cold-dampness lumbar disc herniation.It has an obvious improvement on the waist and leg pain. |
