ObjectiveIn order to learn the physical activity of non-dialysis chronic kidney disease(CKD)patients in Guangzhou, and analyze the related risk factors.Finding out the risk factors that affect CKD patients’physical activity so as to improve the patients’physical activity standard rate, and it will also provide more clue for future health education.Method:The study type is retrospective cross-sectional study. The database comes from the PEAKING(Physical evaluation/assessment and adverse outcomes for patients with chronic kidney disease in Guangzhou)cohort study of the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. This study used ActiGraphGT3X to record the physical activity of CKD patients. We divided CKD patients into standard groups and non-standard groups with the recommendations of the 2002 Quality of Life Guidelines for Kidney Disease and Dialysis Patients in the United States, and collected and sorted out relevant variables.Performed single-factor analysis on them, and incorporate statistically significant variables into the multivariate logistic regression analysis model to learn the risk factors that affect the non-standard physical activity.Result:The study finally included 112 non-dialysis CKD patients.Among them, the standard rate of physical activity was 87.5%.The results of univariate analysis suggested education, drinking history, primary disease,TCM syndrome, traditional Chinese health exercise, physical examination were not statistically significant(P≥0.2).While gender, age, marital status, smoking history,CKD stage, disease duration, renal biopsy, and Charlson Comorbidity Index(CCI)were statistically significant(<0.2).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis model suggest:CKD stage 4-5(OR=9.109,95%CI:1.773,46.791,P=0.008),disease duration is more than 10 years(OR=6.538,95%CI:1.127,37.931,P=0.036)were statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that it was correlated with substandard physical activity in CKD patients.ConclusionThe result suggests the standard rate of non-dialysis CKD patients in Guangzhou is higher than similar domestic and abroad studies, which may be related to the small sample size of the study, the different physical activity measurement tools and research objects.CKD stages 4-5 and the disease duration more than 10 years are the risk factors of substandard physical activity in CKD patient. Therefore,it is necessary to provide more targeted publicity and education programs based on the actual situation of the patients to improve the patient’ s physical activity standard rate.
