| ObjectiveTo observe the effect of treatment for Qingxiao external washing prescription fumigation and sitting bath in the treatment of inflammatory external hemorrhoids with downward transmission of damp-heat syndrome,explore its action mechanism,and objectively evaluate the practical value and safety.MethodsAccording to the diagnostic criteria of inflammatory external hemorrhoids with downward transmission of damp-heat syndrome,78 outpatients recruited from the Anorectal Clinic of Xiamen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 20,2020 to December 20,2020,were randomly split into treatment group(n=39)and control group(n=39).The treatment group was conducted using Qingxiao external washing prescription fumigation sitting bath,and the control group was conducted using Jinxuan hemorrhoids fumigation powder fumigation sitting bath.The treatment course of two groups was 7 days,and the drug was taken once a day.The general curative effect,the haemorrhoids edema degree,the degree of anal pain,anal belly degree were compared between the two groups before treatment,3 days after treatment,and 7 days after treatment,and then evaluate the effect of treatment for Qingxiao external washing prescription fumigation and sitting bath in the treatment of inflammatory external hemorrhoids with downward transmission of damp-heat syndrome.Results78 patients with inflammatory external hemorrhoids were recruited in this study.No shedding cases were found in both groups.Finally,we performed a statistical analysis of 78 patients who completed clinical observation.The results elucidated that no significant differences(P>0.05)were found in the two groups of patients before treatment,indicating that two groups were comparable.The results of post-treatment analysis were as follows:1.Comparison of the overall efficacy of the two groups: It provided the overall efficiency of 94.87% in the treatment group(Qingxiao external washing prescription group),and that of the control group(Jinxuan hemorrhoids fumigation and washing group)was89.74%.There was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was better than control group.2.Analysis of the degree of hemorrhoid edema: After treatment,the degree of hemorrhoid edema in both groups was reduced.There was significant difference in the edema score between the two groups(P<0.05).The reduction of hemorrhoid edema in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).3.Anal pain analysis: The degree of anal pain in the two groups was relieved after treatment,and the difference was significant(P<0.05).The pain relief in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).4.Anal distension analysis: The degree of anal distension in the two groups was relieved after treatment,and the difference was significant(P<0.05).The anal distension in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion1.Qingxiao external washing prescription fumigation and sitting bath can significantly improve the symptoms of edema,pain,and distension in patients with inflammatory external hemorrhoids with downward transmission of damp-heat syndrome,and the clinical effect is remarkable.2.Both Qingxiao external washing prescription and Jinxuan hemorrhoid fumigation powder could improve the symptoms of inflammatory external hemorrhoids with downward transmission of damp-heat syndrome,while the clinical effect of Qingxiao external washing prescription was significantly better than that of Jinxuan hemorrhoid fumigation powder.3.Qingxiao external washing prescription has the effect of clearing away heat,reducing dampness and detoxification,promoting blood circulation,reducing swelling,and relieving pain.The prescription is safe,reliable,easy to operate,and easy to be accepted by patients,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application. |
