Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Gushen Zhiyi Decoction in the treatment of infantile enuresis with renal qi deficiency, and to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Gushen Zhiyi Decoction in the treatment of infantile enuresis by comparing the total scores of symptoms and the scores of major and minor symptoms before and after treatment. Methods: In this study,64 children with enuresis with renal qi deficiency who met the inclusion criteria were divided into treatment group and control group by randomized control method, including 32 cases in the treatment group and 32 cases in the control group. The treatment group was given self-designed Gushen Zhiyi decoction granules, and the control group was given desmopressin acetate orally. Two groups were treated for 2 weeks as a course of treatment. The treatment lasted for 8 weeks,i.e.,4 courses of treatment. The recurrence was observed 4 weeks after drug withdrawal. The symptoms and signs of the two groups of children before treatment,4 weeks after treatment and 8 weeks after treatment were observed and recorded. The differences between the two groups of treatment schemes were compared and analyzed to explore the clinical efficacy of Gushen Zhiyi Decoction in the treatment of enuresis of kidney-qi deficiency type.Results:1.Before treatment, gender, age, course of disease, constipation and family history were compared between the two groups, and P > 0.05 showed no statistical significance and was comparable.2.After treatment, the healing rate of the treatment group was 90.9%,and that of the control group was 57.6%.Comparison of the overall efficacy between the two groups showed a statistically significant difference(P < 0.05).3.Follow-up 4 weeks after the treatment, the recurrence rate of the treatment group was6.67%.The recurrence rate of the control group was 21.05%,and the chi-square test showed P >0.05.There was no statistical significance in the recurrence rate between the two groups.4.Comparison of primary and secondary symptom scores and total scores(1)Comparison of scores of major symptoms: there was no significant difference between 4 weeks and 8 weeks after treatment by rank sum test(P > 0.05).(2)Comparison of scores of minor symptoms: by rank sum test, the difference between 4weeks and 8 weeks after treatment was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(3)Comparison of total scores: by rank sum test, the difference between 4 weeks and 8weeks after treatment was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Both schemes are effective in the treatment of infantile enuresis, both can reduce the number of enuresis and improve the arousal threshold, and no obvious adverse reactions were observed. However, oral Gushen Zhiyi Decoction can more effectively improve the symptoms of renal qi deficiency, such as complexion, fatigue, chills, waist and knee acid and softness, and the overall effect is better than desmopressin.Oral Gushen Zhiyi Decoction has definite curative effect in the treatment of enuresis in children without obvious adverse reactions, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application. |
