| Objective Migraine is a common primary headache, its high prevalence and disability seriously affect people’s quality of life. There is growing evidence that the positive rate of right-to-left shunt is higher in migraine patients.Research suggests there may be a possible link.Qinghai province is located in middle and high altitude area, its special climate and low oxygen environment may affect the occurrence and development of migraine and RLS.This study aims to investigate the relationship between migraine and right-left shunt in middle and high altitude areas by observing the positive rate, classification and degree of shunt volume between migraine patients and normal population, which may provide reference for reasonable prevention and accurate treatment of migraine patients in middle and high altitude areas. Methods A total of 113 migraine patients(case group)and 113 healthy subjects(control group)treated in the First People’s Hospital of Xining City were selected as the research subjects, collected basic information and medical history, performed relevant laboratory tests, completed HIT-6,and performed the transcranial Doppler foaming test in both groups.According to the classification and grading standards of right-left shunt volume,right-left shunt was classified and graded, and the positive rate, classification and shunt volume of each group were statistically analyzed and compared. Results 1.(1)Compared with the healthy body examination group, the proportion of female patients in the migraine group was higher, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.(1)The positive rate of RLS in the migraine group was higher than that in the healthy body test group, and the difference was statistically significant(P=0.0406).There was statistically significant difference between the two groups in small shunt and large shunt(PS=0.0298,PL=0.0025),in which a large number of shunts had significant differences(P<0.01),but there was no statistically significant difference in medium shunt and classification between the two groups(P>0.05).(2)The positive rate of RLS in the MA group was higher than that in the MO group, but there was no significant difference in the positive rate of RLS,classification and small, medium and large shunts between the two groups(P>0.05).3.(1)The age, gender, hyperlipidemia, carotid atherosclerosis,RLS,smoking and drinking history of the migraine group and the healthy body examination group were analyzed by one-way variance analysis, and there were differences in gender(female)and RLS(P女=0.0233,PRLS=0.0406).(2)Logistic regression analysis of gender(female)and RLS with differences in one-way ANOVA showed that both female and RLS were independent risk factors for migraine(P女=0.020,PRLS=0.034).4.There was no close correlation between the degree of headache and the degree of RLS(P>0.05).Conclusion 1.The positive rate of RLS in migraine patients at middle and high altitude was significantly higher than that in healthy people, especially in MA patients.2.There is an association between migraine and RLS at middle and high altitudes, especially when there is a large number of shunts.3.Both female and RLS are independent risk factors for migraine.4.There was no close relationship between the effect of headache and the degree of RLS shunt in migraine patients. |
