Objective:To investigate the relationship between Colorectal polyps and Helicobacter pylori(HP),and to determine whether Helicobacter pylori infection is the factor causing Colorectal polyps,so as to provide clinical reference for the diagnosis and treatment of Colorectal polyps and prevention of Colorectal cancer. Methods:the object of study:in October 2019 to September 2020 room in guilin medical college affiliated hospital during the period of stomach and line 13C-UBT and colonoscopy in patients with exclusion of inflammatory bowel disease, juvenile polyposis, family history of bowel cancerand always after intestinal surgery patients a total of 4440 people, including colonoscopy found 1438 atients with colon polyps and complete the pathological biopsy for polyps group, colonoscopy did not see obvious abnormal 3002 cases as control group.Patients’personal data,13C-UBT results, colonoscopy, and pathological biopsy of polyps in the large intestine were collected.Colonoscopy results should be recorded in detail the location, maximum diameter(for multiple polyps, the maximum diameter of the largest polyps),number, morphology, etc.HP was detected using a 13C-UBT.Finally statistical analysis with SPSS 26.0 software, obey the normal distribution of measurement data to X+S said,do not obey fall along the comparison between the measurement data set Kruskal Wallis test, counting data expressed as a percentage, using chi-square test,P<0.05 for the difference is statistically significant.Results:1.A total of 1438 patients in the polyp group and 3002 patients in the control group were included in this study. The polyp group ranged in age from 7 years old to 92 years old, with an average age of (53.83±10.50)years old.Colonic polyp patients mainly ranged in age from 50 to 70 years old.The age of the polyp group was(53.83±10.50) years old,and that of the control group was(47.22±12.64) years old,and the difference in age was statistically significant(t=11.736,P<0.001).2.There were 789 males(54.9%)and 649 females(45.1%)in the polyp group, while there were 1255 males(41.8%)and 1747 females(58.2%)in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(χ2=66.778,P<0.001).The risk of colorectal polyps in males was higher than that in females.3.The positive rate of 13C-UBT in polyp group and control group was 24.06%and 22.26%,respectively,and there was no significant difference in Hp infection rate(χ2=1.739,P=0.187).4.There was no statistical significance in the positive rate of 13C breath test of polyps in different sites(ileocecal region, ascending colon, transverse colon, descending colon, sigmoid colon, rectum)in pairings comparison(with the calibration test levelα’=0.0034 as the test level, any pairings comparison P>0.0034).5.Inflammatory polyp is 13 c breath test positive and negative respectively in 111 patients(21.18%),413 cases(78.82%),hyperplastic polyp is 13C-UBT positive and negative respectively in 66 patients(21.78%),237 cases(78.22%),tubular adenoma is 13C-UBT positive and negative respectively in 210 patients(25.86%),602 cases(77.14%),tube-a villous adenoma is 13C-UBT masculine, feminine there were 11 cases (31.43%),24 cases(68.57%),There were 3 cases(25%) positive 13C-UBT and 9 cases(75%) negative 13C-UBT in serrated adenoma patients, respectively.Pairwise comparison of Hp infection rate among 5 pathological types of large intestine polyps showed no statistical significance(χ2=5.656,P=0.226).6.In the polyp group, the diameter of tubular adenoma, serrated polyp,tubular-villous adenoma, inflammatory polyp and proliferative polyp were(0.67±0.30)cm,(0.66±0.18)cm,(1.22±0.64)cm,(0.53±0.20)cm and(0.57±0.34)cm.Pair comparison after correction of significance level by Bonferroni method was found.Inflammatory polyp and tubular adenoma(P<0.001)after adjustment, the inflammatory polyp and tubular-villous adenoma(P<0.001) after adjustment, hyperplastic polyp and tubular adenoma(P<0.001) after adjustment, the hyperplastic polyp and tubular-villous adenoma(P<0.001) after adjustment, tubular adenoma and tubular-a villous adenoma(adjusted P<0.001),the difference was statistically significant differences between the other groups have no statistical significance.Comparison of average diameter of large intestine polyps in each group:Tubular-villous adenoma>Tubular adenoma BBB>flammatory polyps and proliferative polyps.7.In the polyp group,151 cases(23.74%) and 196 cases(24.44%) were positive for Hp in single polyps and multiple polyps, respectively. There was no significant difference in Hp infection rate(χ2=0.094,P=0.759).8.The Hp infection rates of tubular adenoma group, tubular villous adenoma group, serrated adenoma group, proliferative polyp group and inflammatory polyp group were 25.37%,35.13%,33.33%,22.44%and 21.18%,respectively.The Hp infection rates of the control group were 22.26%.Conclusion:There was no correlation between HP infection and different pathological types of large intestine polyps in northern Guangxi population.
