Efficacy Of Fractional CO₂ Laser Assisted Treatment For Acral Vitiligo:A Meta-analysis

Objective:To evaluate systematically the efficacy of fractional carbon dioxide laser combined with local drugs and/or narrow-spectrum UVB in the treatment of acral vitiligo.Methods:The databases of Cochrane,Embase,Pubmed,CBM,Wanfang,CNKI and VIP were searched by computer,and all RCT literatures related to treatment of acral vitiligo published at home and abroad from January 1,2005 to August 1,2020 were searched.The extracted data were analyzed by Revman5.3 software with the effective rate as the curative effect index,and the relative rate(RR)and 95%confidence interval(CI)were calculated.Results:A total of 1224 literatures were retrieved,and 7 literatures were included according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria.The effective rate of I~2=0%and P=0.64>0.1 by Q test showed no heterogeneity in the included articles.The fixed-effect model was used to combine the effective values,and the combined RR value was 1.42,95%CI(1.16,1.75),P<0.05.The difference was statistically significant.The I~2=51%>50% of the significant efficiency and P=0.06<0.1 of the Q test indicated that there was heterogeneity in the included articles.The fixed-effect model was used to combine the effect values of the significant efficiency,and the combined RR value was 5.1,95%CI(2.66,9.76),P<0.05,and the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion:The combination of local drugs and/or narrow-spectrum UVB with fractional carbon dioxide laser is a safe and effective method for the treatment of acral vitiligo,and provides new ideas for the effective treatment of acral vitiligo.
