Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of fractional carbon dioxide laser(FCL)combined with platelet-rich plasma(PRP)in the treatment of facial acne atrophic scar. Methods: Twenty patients with moderate to severe acne atrophic scar were collected from the dermatology department of our hospital. The bilateral sides of the patients were randomly divided into the experimental side and the control side. The whole face was treated with CO2 laser first, and then treated with local and external PRP or normal saline respectively, once every 1 month,3 times in total.Goodman& Baron scar grade and score,VISIA score, edema score, pain score, scab duration, and patient satisfaction were recorded before each treatment and 1 month after the end of the treatment cycle.SPSS25.0 software was used for statistical analysis.Paired T-test was used for measurement data and Wilcoxon paired rank-sum test was used for grade data.P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: Goodman& Baron scar grade and score improvement of experimental group and control group before and after treatment were statistically significant(P < 0.05).There was no statistical difference in the improvement of scar grade between the experimental group and the control group(P=0.86),but the improvement of scar score was more obvious and statistically significant(P< 0.05).In the VISIA score, the increase of spot score in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, and the improvement of texture and pore score was better than that in the control group, but there was no statistical difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).The postoperative erythema, edema, and pain in the experimental group were milder than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The duration of the scab was shorter than that in the control group, but there was no significant difference(P > 0.05).Conclusion: PRP combined with FCL is a safe and effective method for the treatment of acne atrophic scars.Combined use can improve the clinical efficacy, shorten the treatment period, and reduce adverse reactions.
