Objective:To explore the intervention effect of focused solution mode on anxiety, depressi on,medical coping style and quality of life in patients undergoing prostate cancer s urgery, and to provide new reference for psychological intervention strategies in pati ents undergoing prostate cancer surgery. Methods:A total of 104 patients with prostate cancer who underwent surgery in the Urology Department of a Class A General Hospital from November,2019 to December,2019 were selected as the research subjects.A total of 104 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into the intervention group and the control group, with 52 patients in each group. The control group received routine nursing, including preoperative guidance, examination, postoperative education and psychological care.On this basis, the intervention group implemented the focused solution mode, which was divided into two stages:hospitalization stage and post-discharge stage. The intervention time was one day before surgery, the second day after surgery, the day before discharge, and one month after discharge.Self-rating anxiety and depression scales(SAS,SDS),medical coping style(MCMQ)and quality of life scales(EORTC QLQ-C30/PR25)were collected before the first intervention and after the final intervention for effect evaluation.SPSS 26.0 software was used for data analysis.Mean±standard deviation, number of cases, percentage, median and interquartile interval were used for statistical description. Two independent samples t-test,paired t-test,chi-square test and nonparametric test were used for statistical inference. The test level α=0.05,and the difference was statistically significant with P<0.05.The above data scores were compared to evaluate the effectiveness of the focused solution model intervention.Results:1.Comparison of general information between the two groups: age, marital statu s,monthly family income and payment methods of the two groups were balanced a nd comparable(P>0.05)。2.Comparison of negative emotions between the two groups: SAS and SDS scores of the two groups were higher than the critical value before intervention, and the difference was not significant(P>0.05);After intervention, the scores of SAS and SDS in the intervention group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05);There was no significant difference in the scores of SAS and SDS in the control group before and after intervention(P>0.05);In the intervention group,SAS and SDS scores were better than those before the intervention(P<0.05);3.Comparison of medical coping styles between the two groups: there was no significant difference in baseline scores of MCMQ dimensions of face, avoidance and surrender between the two groups before intervention(P>0.05);After the intervention, compared the scores of each dimension, the scores of the intervention group were significantly higher than that of the control group, while the scores of avoidance and surrender were lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in MCMQ scores before and after intervention(P>0.05);In the intervention group, the scores of face, avoidance, and surrender in MCMQ were significantly improved after the focused solution mode(P<0.05);4.Comparison of quality of life between the two groups: at baseline before intervention,EORTC QLQ scores of the two groups were comparable(P>0.05);The intervention results showed that there were statistically significant differences in the scores of functional domains, general health domains, symptom domains, individual domains of insomnia, constipation, diarrhea, and specific domains of urinary and intestinal symptoms between the two groups(P<0.05),there was no significant difference in the scores of other fields(P>0.05).After intervention, there were statistically significant differences in pain and diarrhea scores in the control group(P<0.05),there was no significant difference in the scores of the other 17 fields(P>0.05),and the scores of function, general health, urinary symptoms in symptom field and specific field, and individual field(except economic difficulty)in the intervention group were better than those before intervention(P<0.05),there was no significant difference in other fields(P>0.05).Conclusion:The solution focused approach implemented in this study alleviates the anxiety and depression of patients undergoing prostate cancer surgery, maximizes the reduction of patients’ negative emotions caused by the disease, helps them positively face the disease stress, makes the tendency of coping style selection positive, and improves their quality of life.As a positive psychological intervention, the solution focused approach fully stimulates the subjective initiative and enthusiasm of patients, seeks solutions from the problems, faces the future from the past, gets rid of the past troubles, and looks forward to the future based on the present. This model has strong practicability, high acceptability, low cost and significant effect, and provides a quasi model for carrying out deep psychological intervention.
