Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Scapulohumeral Periarthritis Of Hand-taiyang Meridian Type By Reinforcing And Purging Acupuncture

Purpose:The purpose of this study is to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Zimu reinforcing and reducing acupuncture in the treatment of periarthritis of shoulder with Hand-Taiyang meridian through clinical research,so as to provide a clinical basis for the derivative of the traditional Zimu reinforcing and reducing theory,and at the same time to provide a new idea and operation scheme for the clinical dialectical treatment of periarthritis of shoulder by meridian.Method:Using the random number table method,60 patients who met the inclusion criteria and were determined to be the Hand-Taiyang periarthritis were divided into the treatment group(even number)and the control group(odd number)with 30 cases each.The treatment group was selected as follows: Jianzhen(SI9),Bingfeng(SI12),Tianzong(SI11),Xiaohai(SI8)and Jiexi(ST41)points were selected for empirical study;Jianzhen(SI9),Tianjing(SJ10),Tianzong(SI11),Houxi(SI3)and Yangfu(GB38)points for deficiency syndrome;For the syndrome of deficiency and excess,the points of Jianzhen(SI9),Bingfeng(SI12),Tianjing(SJ10),Tianzong(SI11),Xiaohai(SI8),Houxi(SI3),Jiexi(ST41)and Yangfu(GB38)are selected.In the control group,the acupoints were selected as follows: Shoulder Three Needles(Jianqian,Jianyu(LI15),Jianliao(SJ14),Yanglingquan(GB34),Quchi(LI11),Ashi and Houxi(SI3).After two courses of therapies,Constant-Murley shoulder joint function points(pain sensation,ROM,ADL,muscle strength,etc.)and CMS total curative effect scores were monitored before and after treatment in the two groups,and the collected observation data were statistically analyzed.Results:1.After two courses of treatment,the pain of the affected shoulder and its related tissues can be obviously promoted between the two groups,and the therapeutic effect was better in the experimental group(p<0.05).2.After two courses of treatment,the daily living ability of patients in both groups was promoted compared with that before treatment,but the improvement of quality of life of patients in the treatment group was more advantageous than that in the control group(p<0.05).3.After two courses of treatment,the treatment regimens in both groups improved the functional mobility of the shoulder,and the treatment group was more effective in restoring the functional mobility of the shoulder(p<0.05).4.After two courses of treatment,both groups can improve the patient’s muscle strength grade,but it is impossible to compare which therapy is better(p>0.05).5.Comparison of clinical curative effect: The total effective ratio of Zi-Mu reinforcing and purging acupuncture was 90.00%,which was significantly superior than that of the conventional acupuncture control group(82.76%),indicating that the treatment group had better clinical efficacy.Conclusion:Both Zi-Mu reinforcing and reducing acupuncture and conventional acupuncture can improve the clinical symptoms of periarthritis of Hand-Taiyang meridian,and Zi-Mu reinforcing and reducing acupuncture is superior to conventional acupuncture in alleviating pain in the shoulder joint and its surrounding tissues,improving the limited functional activity of the shoulder joint,improving the quality of life of patients and the overall clinical efficacy It is confirmed that Zi-Mu reinforcing and reducing acupuncture treatment of periarthritis of shoulder with Hand-Taiyang meridian is effective and worthy of clinical application.
