Clinical Study On Wenfei Jiangqi Zhike Decoction Combined With Acupoint Application In The Treatment Of Chronic Cough Of Cold Pathogenic Stagnation Of Lung Type

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Wenfei Jiangqi Zhike decoction combined with Acupoint Application in the treatment of chronic cough(with airway hyperresponsiveness)of cold pathogenic stagnation of lung type,and to explore a more effective,safer and more convenient TCM treatment scheme for chronic cough of airway hyperresponsiveness of cold pathogenic stagnation of lung type.Methods: 80 cases of high reactive chronic cough of cold pathogenic stagnation lung type were collected from the outpatient department of lung disease department affiliated hospital of Jiangxi University of traditional Chinese medicine.80 cases were selected and 40 cases were divided into control group and treatment group according to the random number table according to 1:1 ratio.The control group was treated with Wenfei Jiangqi Zhike decoction.The treatment group combined with Acupoint Application on the basis of the control group(once a week,24 hours a time),the total course of treatment was 1 month,followed up for1 month after treatment.Before and after treatment,the scores of cough symptom score,TCM symptom quantification score,life quality assessment(LCQ),cough visual simulation(VAS)score were recorded,cough relief time and cough cure time were recorded,clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were evaluated,and SPSS 26.0 statistical software was used for statistical analysis.Result:(1)Before treatment,there was no statistical difference in gender,age and disease distribution between the two groups,which was comparable;there was no statistical difference in cough symptom score,TCM symptom quantitative score,VAS score and LCQ score between the two groups,which was comparable,P > 0.05.(2)Cough symptom score: after treatment,the cough symptom score of the two groups were compared within the group,P < 0.05,with statistical difference;the comparison between the groups was p < 0.05,with significant difference.(3)TCM symptom quantitative score: after treatment,the scores of cough,expectoration,aversion to cold,pharyngeal itching and Qi inversion in the two groups were all P < 0.05,with statistical difference;between groups,the TCM symptom scores in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group,P < 0.05,with statistical difference.(4)Cough visual analogue scale: after treatment,the VAS scores of the two groups were decreased compared with those before treatment,with statistical difference(P < 0.05);between the two groups,the VAS scores of the two groups had no significant difference(P > 0.05).(5)Quality of life score: after treatment,the LCQ scores of physiological area,psychological area,social area and total score of the two groups decreased compared with those before treatment,with statistical difference(P < 0.05);between groups,the scores of each area in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group,with statistical difference(P < 0.05).(6)Cough relief time: after treatment,the cough relief time of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group(P < 0.05);(7)Cough healing time: after treatment,the cough healing time of the treatment group was 20.43 ± 4.12 days,which was lower than 23.60± 3.21 days of the control group,but there was no statistical difference by t test(P > 0.05).(8)TCM syndrome curative effect: after treatment,the number of clinical control cases in the treatment group was 7 cases,markedly effective 20 cases,effective 10 cases,invalid 3 cases;the number of clinical control cases in the control group was 5 cases,markedly effective 9 cases,effective 18 cases,invalid 8 cases;the total effective rate of the treatment group was 92.5%,the total effective rate of the control group was 80%,the total effective rate of the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(9)There were no obvious adverse events / adverse reactions in the two groups during the treatment.Individual patients complained that the burning sensation of acupoint sticking was tolerable,and no special treatment was given.There were no abnormal changes in blood and urine routine,heart,liver and kidney function.Conclusion: Wenfei Jiangqi Zhike decoction combined with acupoint application and Wenfei Jiangqi Zhike Decoction alone are effective in the treatment of patients with chronic cough(with airway hyperresponsiveness)of cold pathogenic stagnation of lung type,with good safety,and can improve TCM symptoms and quality of life in a short time.However,the overall efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.Combined with acupoint application,the clinical symptoms of the patients could be relieved faster.It is suggested that the clinical application and further research be promoted.
