Clinical Observation Of Baitouweng Decoction Retention Enema In The Treatment Of Damp-heat Radiation Proctitis

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Baitouweng decoction retention enema in the treatment of damp-heat radiation proctitis,in order to provide reliable evidence,clinical practical value and more effective and rich treatment methods for the treatment of radiation proctitis in the future.Methods:Sixty patients with damp-heat radiation proctitis in anorectal Department,Oncology Department and inpatient Department of Anhui traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from December 2018 to December 2020 were selected and divided into observation group(Baitouweng decoction group,n = 30)and control group(montmorillonite powder + dexamethasone group,n = 30).Enema once a day for 20 days.By comparing the results of comprehensive curative effect evaluation after treatment,the clinical curative effect was evaluated by ESR,C-reactive protein level,rectal mucosal injury,intestinal reaction and TCM symptoms before and after treatment.Results:(1)By comparing the comprehensive curative effect between the observation group and the control group after treatment,the former was better than the latter,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).(2)in terms of ESR and CRP,Baitouweng decoction retention enema and montmorillonite powder + dexamethasone retention enema were effective in the treatment of damp-heat radiation proctitis,and the curative effect of Baitouweng decoction group was better.There were significant differences between and within groups before and after treatment(P <0.05).(3)comparing the curative effect of fecal occult blood before and after treatment,Baitouweng decoction retention enema and montmorillonite powder + dexamethasone group could improve the condition of hematochezia.There was statistical significance in the group before and after treatment(P <0.05),but there was no statistical significance between the two groups(P >0.05).(4)in terms of improving rectal mucosal injury,both groups were effective,but the curative effect of Baitouweng decoction group was better,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).(5)in terms of intestinal reaction before and after treatment,the effective rate of tobservation group was 76.7%,and that of the control group was 53.3%.Both groups were effective.(6)in terms of TCM symptom score and curative effect evaluation of the two groups before and after treatment,the treatment of the observation group and the control group was effective,and the former was better than the latter.(7)in terms of adverse reactions,there were 1 case of anal pain and discomfort in the observation group,2 cases of abdominal discomfort in the observation group,2 cases of anal pain and discomfort in the control group,and 1 case of abdominal discomfort in the control group.After the patients with uncomfortable symptoms were instructed(without drug treatment),the uncomfortable symptoms were relieved and did not affect the course of treatment.Conclusion:In the treatment of damp-heat radiation proctitis,Baitouweng decoction enema and montmorillonite powder + dexamethasone enema have clinical effects.After that,the erythrocyte sedimentation rate,C-reactive protein level,rectal mucosal injury,intestinal reaction,TCM syndrome efficacy evaluation,Baitouweng decoction are better than montmorillonite powder + dexamethasone irrigation group.
