Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Radiation Enteritis By Retention Enema Of Pulsatilla Decoction

Objective:To observe the curative effect of retention enema with modified pulsatilla Decoction on radiation enteritis.Method:Sixty-six patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 33 patients in each group.During the study period,2 patients in the treatment group fell off due to deterioration(1 case)and voluntary withdrawal(1 case),and the remaining 31 patients;In the control group,3cases fell off due to deterioration of the disease(2 cases)and voluntary withdrawal(1case),and the remaining 30 cases.During the study,both groups were given nutritional support treatment,and were given loperamide hydrochloride capsules orally.The control group was treated with montmorillonite powder retention enema.Treatment group: added with pulsatilla Decoction and reduced formula for retention enema.The two groups were treated with enema once a night,one day off every six days,two weeks as a course of treatment,and two consecutive courses of treatment.Observe and record the symptoms,signs,radiation enteritis grade,TCM syndrome score,quality of life score and stool occult blood score of the two groups before and after treatment,and record the adverse reactions after treatment,evaluate the clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome efficacy,life treatment improvement rate and stool occult blood improvement rate,and evaluate its safety.Results:1.After treatment,the grade of radioactive enteritis in both groups decreased(p<0.05),and the treatment group decreased significantly compared with the control group(p<0.05);The symptoms and signs of the treatment group were improved,and the clinical effect was better than that of the control group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(p<0.05);2.After treatment,the score of TCM syndrome in both groups improved,and the curative effect of TCM syndrome in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(p<0.05);3.The score of quality of life in both groups improved after treatment,and the improvement rate of quality of life in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(p<0.05);4.The stool occult blood test in both groups improved after treatment,and the improvement rate of stool occult blood in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(p<0.05);5.There were no obvious adverse reactions during treatment in both groups.Conclusion:The treatment of radioactive enteritis by retention enema with modified baitouweng decoction can effectively improve the clinical symptoms and signs of patients,improve the clinical efficacy and the efficacy of TCM syndromes,improve the quality of life and the degree of occult blood in stool,without obvious toxic and side effects.It is suggested that this treatment has good efficacy and safety in the treatment of radioactive enteritis.
