Purpose:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of the two methods in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy by using pulsed radiofrequency combined with rotation-traction manipulation, and to observe the changes of Visual Analogue Scale(Visual Analogue Scale/Score VAS),the functional score of the symptoms of jingjiu tanaka,The Neek Disability Index(The Neek Disability Index NDI)and The grip strength before and after treatment. Methods : The cases of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy admitted to the Department of Orthopedics of the First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 1,2017 to January 1,2021 were retrospectively analyzed.According to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,168 cases were selected according to the standard, which were divided into observation group and control group according to the different treatment plan.A total of 78 patients in the observation group were treated with pulsed radiofrequency combined with rotation-traction manipulation, and 90 patients in the control group were treated with rotation-traction manipulation, both groups were combined with basic treatment items. To analyze the changes of Visual Analogue Scale, the functional score of the symptoms of jingjiu tanaka,The Neek Disability Index and The grip strength,to evaluate the clinical curative effect of the patients by using the modified Macnab curative effect evaluation standard, and analyze the obtained clinical data by statistical software. Results:The results of this study show that::(1)Before treatment, there was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of sex, age, course of disease and location of disease(P>0.05),which was comparable.;(2)There was no significant difference in Visual Analogue Scale,The functional score of the symptoms of jingjiu tanaka,The Neek Disability Index and The grip strength between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),which was comparable;(3)The Visual Analogue Scale,The functional score of the symptoms of jingjiu tanaka,The Neek Disability Index and The grip strength of the two groups were significantly improved on the 7th day after treatment, and the observation indexes on the 14 th day after treatment were significantly improved on the before treatment(P<0.05);(4)There were significant differences in The Visual Analogue Scale,The functional score of the symptoms of jingjiu tanaka,The Neek Disability Index between the two groups on day 7 after treatment and day 14 after treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment plan in the observation group was better than that in the control group. There was no significant difference in grip strength between the two groups on day 7 and 14 after treatment(P>0.05);(5)The therapeutic effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group,88.5% and 72.2%respectively.Conclusion:(1)The two groups of treatment in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy has achieved good therapeutic effect;(2)Pulsed radiofrequency combined with rotation-traction manipulation in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy was better than the control group in improving pain, symptoms, signs and dysfunction, and there was no significant difference between the two treatments in improving grip strength of patients;(3)Pulsed radiofrequency combined with rotation-traction manipulation is a safe and effective treatment for cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.
