Clinical Observation Of Xingnao Kaiqiao Acupuncture Combined With Scalp Acupuncture In The Treatment Of Post-stroke Depression

Objective:Observing the clinical efficacy of Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture combined with scalp acupuncture in the treatment of post-stroke depression.Methods:Sixty patients with post-stroke depression attending in the outpatient and ward of the Department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion of the First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine between February 2020 to February 2021 who met the criteria for research standards were divided into two groups randomly and each group has 30 cases.Both groups were given conventional treatment for cerebrovascular diseases.On this basis,the treatment group was treated with Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture combined with scalp acupuncture,once a day for acupuncture treatment.After 6 consecutive days of treatment,rest one day,14 days as a course of treatment and in totally two courses.The patients in control group were treated with sertraline hydrochloride tablets orally,1 tablet a day for 2courses.Before and after the treatment,the two groups were both evaluated by the HAMD,the NIHSS,the PSQI and the BI.Based on this,analyse the obtained data and compare the difference in curative effect between the two groups.Results:During the treatment of this study,there was 1 case in the control group that dropped out,and a total of 59 cases were finally completed.The results of the study are as follows:1.The differences between the general data(age,gender,course of disease,stroke type)of the two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05),which meant that the two groups were comparable.2.Before the treatment,the HAMD score,NIHSS score,PSQI score and Barthel index of the two groups were compared between the two groups.The difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05)and was comparable.3.After 2 courses of treatment,The HAMD score,NIHSS score,PSQI score,and Barthel index were all significantly improved than before,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.After 2 courses of treatment,The treatment group was obviously better than the control group about the NIHSS score,PSQI score and Barthel index(P<0.05).However,there was no obviously difference in the reduction about the degree of depression between the two groups(P>0.05).5.After 2 courses of treatment,there were 3 persons cured,15 persons markedly effective,8persons effective and only 4 persons invalid in the treatment group,by the way,the total effective rate was 86.67%.But in the control group,only 1 person was cured,6 persons were markedly effective,15 cases were effective and 7 cases were ineffective,by the way,1 case dropped and the total effective rate was 75.86%.The rank sum test was performed on the curative effect data of the two groups,and the curative effect of the control group was significantly less than the treatment group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture combined with scalp acupuncture and oral sertraline hydrochloride are both effective in treating post-stroke depression.Both have the same effect in improving the degree of depression in patients,but Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture combined with scalp acupuncture can improve patients’ neurological deficits and it has better curative effect in regulating the patient’s sleep,and improving the ability of daily living activities.Xingnao Kaiqiao acupuncture combined with scalp acupuncture has a definite clinical effect in the treatment of post-stroke depression.Compared with oral sertraline hydrochloride tablets,it is safe and reliable which has less adverse reactions and is worthy of clinical promotion.
