Objective:In order to estimate the clinical performance of The acupuncture method of regulating the spirit and dredging meridian in the treatment of qi stagnation and blood stasis type of PHN,the changes of pain, mood and sleep scores of(PHN)patients treated with the acupuncture method of regulating the spirit and dredging meridian and routine acupuncture method,so as to find an effective comprehensive therapy of"simultaneous treatment of mind and body"for clinical treatment of this disease. Methods:In the study, according to the examples criteria of post-herpetic neuralgia, sixty patients were selected who were treated in the acupuncture and moxibustion clinic of Qinhuangdao Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine-from December 2019 to December 2020.According to the method of Random Number Table, the selected patients were randomly divided into two groups(30 cases in each):the first group is regulating the spirit and dredging meridian group, and the other is routine acupuncture group. In clinical treatment, regulating the spirit and dredging meridian group fell off in 0 cases and actually completed in 30cases,while in routine acupuncture group,it fell off in 1 case and actually completed in 29 cases. Both groups were treated with oral western medicine(mecobalamin Injection 0.5mg,Tid,vitamin B110 mg,Tid)and acupuncture and cupping at A shi point(qod, tiw, for 2 weeks)as the basic treatment. The group of regulating mind and dredging collaterals was given the acupuncture method of regulating mind and dredging collaterals, and the acupoints were selected as follows:mental and emotional area(double),Neiguan(double)and Siguan. The routine acupuncture group was treated with ordinary acupuncture, and the acupoints were selected as follows:Jiaji(correspon ding nerve segment),Sanyinjiao(double)and Xuehai(double). Both groups were treated once a day,7 days per course, and 2 courses of treatment in total. At 4 treatment stages:before treatment, after the first course, after the second course and two weeks later after the treatment, three indexes were observed, including:Pain Indexes((1)visual analogue scale VAS;(2)pain frequency),Emotional Indexes((1)hamilton anxiety scale HAMA;(2)hamilton depression scale HAMD),Sleep Index(pittsburgh sleep quality index scale PSQI).During the research,we observed and measured the changes of the three aspects:pain, mood and sleep among the patients.Subsequently, the therapeutic effects of the two groups’patients were assessed according to the changes of the pain degrees(VAS score). All the data are analyzed by SPSS22.0.Results:(1)There was no significant difference in VAS,pain frequency,HAMA,HAMD and PSQI,between Regulating the spirit and dredging meridian group and routine acupuncture group before treatment(P>0.05).(2)After the first and the second courses of treatment, comparison within groups:The scores of VAS,pain frequency,HAMA,HAMD and PSQI in each group all decreased to varying degrees, which were significantly better than those before treatment(P<0.01).Comparison between groups:The scores of VAS,pain frequency,HAMA,HAMD and PSQI in the Regulating the spirit and dredging meridian group were lower than those in the routine acupuncture group(P<0.05).(3)During the follow-up 2weeks after treatment, the scores of VAS,pain frequency,HAMA,HAMD and PSQI in the group of regulating the spirit and dredging meridian was all lower than that in the contrastive routine group(P<0.05).(4)After the treatment, both the two groups gained better therapeutic effects:the overall effective treatment of regulating the spirit and dredging meridian group came to 90.00%,and that of routine acupuncture group was 72.41%.There was significant difference between Regulating the spirit and dredging meridian group and Routine acupuncture group(P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)Both the acupuncture method of regulating mind and dredging collaterals and the routine acupuncture method are effective in the treatment of PHN(type of qi stagnation and blood stasis),and the acupuncture method of regulating mind and dredging collaterals is better than that of conventional acupuncture.(2)The acupuncture method of regulating mind and dredging collaterals can effectively relieve pain, regulate mood and improve sleep state, and the long-term effect is obvious.
