Objective To explore the effect of nursing intervention based on the theory of the Integrated Theory of Health Behavior Change on postoperative self-management ability of patients with lumbar fragile fracture, and to provide reference for nursing staff on postoperative self-management of patients with lumbar fragile fracture. Methods The convenience sampling method was used to select the patients with lumbar spine fracture in the spinal surgery department of a Grade A hospital in Hohhot,Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from September 2019 to November2020 according to the admission standards.According to the order of admission, patients were grouped by random number method, and the shedding objects in the process of study were eliminated.A total of 74 patients were finally studied,including38 in the intervention group and 36 in the control group. The control group received conventional nursing intervention, while the intervention group received conventional nursing intervention based on the Integrated Theory of Health Behavior Change. The osteoporosis self-efficacy scale,self-management behavior scale and SF-36 scale were used to measure the subjects’ self-efficacy,self-management ability and quality of life before intervention,1 month after intervention and 3 months after intervention.SPSS24.0 was used for statistical analysis and evaluation analysis of the study data. Results 1.There was no significant difference in baseline data of patients with lumbar fragile fracture between the two groups before intervention(P > 0.05).2.The total score of self-efficacy,the total score of various dimensions, the total score of self-management,the total score of various dimensions and the total score of quality of life, the time effect, the intergroup effect and the interaction effect of time × group before intervention,1 month after intervention and 3 months after intervention were statistically significant(P<0.001)3.The total score of self-efficacy and scores of each dimension after 1 month intervention and 3 months intervention were significantly higher in the intervention group than in the control group(P<0.001).4.The scores of self-management and various dimensions in the intervention group were higher than those in the control group after 3 months and 1 month intervention(P<0.001);5.The scores of daily life management and disease medical management in the intervention group were significantly higher than those in the intervention group after 3 months(P<0.05);6.The scores of total quality of life,PF,RP,GH,MH and RE in patients with lumbar fragile fracture after 1 month intervention in the intervention group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.001);7.There was no statistical difference in BP,VT and SF scores between control group and intervention group after 1 month intervention(P>0.05)8.After 3 months of intervention, the total score of quality of life and scores of all dimensions in the intervention group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.001).Conclusion 1.Nursing intervention based on the Integrated Theory of Health Behavior Change can effectively improve the self-efficacy of patients with lumbar fragile fracture;2.Nursing intervention based on the Integrated Theory of Health Behavior Change can effectively improve the postoperative self-management ability of patients with lumbar fragile fracture;3.Nursing intervention based on the Integrated Theory of Health Behavior Change can effectively improve the quality of life of patients with lumbar fragile fracture.
