The Clinical Observation On Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction Combined With Yupingfeng Powder In Treating Rheumatoid Arthritis Of Qi And Blood Deficiency

Objective:To observe patients’ integral changes of score on visual analogue scale and TCM symptoms with rheumatoid arthritis of deficiency of Qi and blood before and after treatment,to discuss the clinical efficacy of the modified Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu decoction combined with Yupingfeng powder.Methods:This study selected patients who visited the clinic of Professor Li Ji from the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2017 to December 2019,To study the patients with rheumatoid arthritis who met the inclusion criteria by self-control before and after treatment.All the selected patients were treated with the Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu decoction combined with Yupingfeng powder,3 weeks for a treatment cycle,and follow up once a week after treatment.We observed the changes of patient’s condition and recorded the score on visual analogue scale and TCM symptoms after be treated one week,two weeks,and three weeks.The results were analyzed by SPSS 26.0 stati stical software to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the decotion.Results:1.After treatment,the VAS score decreased from 6.60 ± 1.52 to 2.3 0 ± 1.73,each course compared with before treatmen,P<0.01,with significant statistical difference.2.After treatment,the score of each syndrome were significantly decrease,compared with before treatmen,P<0.01,with significant stati stical difference.3.After treatment,the TCM syndrome decreased from 39.8 7±7.70 to 10.53 ± 7.10,each course compared with before treatmen,P<0.01,with significant statistical difference.4.Cognitive efficacy analysis:the total effective rate is 100.00%.5.Single symptom efficacy analysis:the total effective rate is 90.00%in the relief of muscle pain;93.33%in the relief of limitation of joint activity;100.00%in the relief of morning stiffness;96.67%in the relief of joint swelling;93.33%in the relief of joint tenderness;and 100.00%in the relief of fatigue.6.During the treatment,there was 1 case of adverse reaction,the safety of which was grade 2,and the incidence rate of adverse reaction was 3.33%.Conclusion:1.Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu decoction combined with Yupingfeng powder in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis with deficiency of Qi and blood can obviously improve the clinical symptoms of patients,significantly reduce the score on visual analogue scale and TCM symptoms,with significant efficacy.2.Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu decoction combined with Yupingfeng powder can effectively alleviate multiple symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis with deficiency of Qi and blood,with significant effect.It shows the fastest effect in improving fatigue,and it shows a faster effect in improving muscle pain,limited joint movement,joint tenderness,and other accompanying symptoms,with better effect in improving j oint tenderness and morning stiffness.
