| Precocious puberty(PP)is a pediatric endocrine disease that sexual development begins before age definition.Precocious puberty not only affects the final height of a child, damages the growth potential, also increases the risk of diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular disease and so on.According to whether depends on gonadotropinreleasing hormone(Gn RH),it can be classified as central or peripheral precocious puberty. The highest incidence of central precocious puberty is idiopathic central precocious puberty.Rapidly progressive puberty(RPP)refers to the fact that some children do not develop until the age of puberty is defined, but their sexual development progresses very quickly, and they are also treated clinically according to the diagnosis and treatment of precocious precocity. Both genetic and environmental factors are important influencing factors for the occurrence of precocious puberty Endocrine disrupting compounds(EDCs)in the environment can simulate the action of endogenous hormones to interfere with the normal operation of the Endocrine system, affecting the expression of hormones.,interfering the process of child sexual development. In order to explore the effects of bisphenol A(BPA),dibutyl phthalate(DBP)and perfluorinated compounds(PFCs),including Heptafluorobutyric acid(PFBA),perfluorinated-heptanoic acid(PFHp A),Perfluorooctanoic acid(PFOA),perfluorinated pelargonic acid(PFNA),Perfluorohexane sulfonate(PFHx S),Perfluorooctane sulphonate(PFOS)and perfluoroundecanoic acid(PFUA),Perfluorodecanoic acid(PDA),to CPP and RPP on girls. We analyzed the contentrations of endocrine disruptors in serum samples. Methods: This study included 22 samples with CPP,21 samples with RPP,and 22 samples of controls(N)girls at Kunming Children’s Hospital. The serum BPA and DBP concentration were detected by ELISA,Ultra Performance Liquid ChromatographyMass Spectrometer/ Mass Spectrometer(UPLC-MS/MS)were used to detect the serum levels of eight kinds of perfluorinated compounds in samples.Analyzing the correlation between the experimental results and the clinical indicators of the samples within the groups, and the differences between the groups.Logistic regression analysis was used to detect the risk factors of CPP and RPP,we also use ROC to assess the value of the forecasting model. Results: 1.Compared with the control group, the CPP and RPP groups increased markedly in height(134.40±6.87 vs 138.74±5.24 vs 120.75±13.41,P<0.001),weight(31.21±5.18 vs 33.48±6.46 vs 21.30±6.67,P<0.001),and BMI(17.22±2.14 vs 17.27±2.37 vs 14.30±1.74,P<0.001),and bone age in RPP group was significantly higher than that in CPP group(11.10±0.41 vs 9.98±1.19,P<0.001).2.The levels of vitamin D(77.54±17.50 vs 67.83±12.39,P<0.05),progesterone(0.57±0.41 vs 1.11±1.01,P<0.05),total testosterone(0.17±0.18 vs 0.29±0.25,P<0.05)and thyroid stimulating hormone(2.35±0.94 vs 3.29±1.67,P < 0.01)were significantly different between the CPP group and the RPP group.3.Compared with the control group, the serum BPA(7.36±2.77 vs 5.78±2.45,P<0.05)and DBP(7.62±3.17 vs 5.94±2.75,P<0.05)were significantly different in the RPP group, while the PFCs levels were not significantly different between the two groups. There were no significant differences in serum BPA,DBP and PFCs levels between CPP group and control group.4.In the CPP group,PFBA and PFHp A were negatively correlated with age(PFBA,r=-0.497,P<0.05;PFHp A,r =-0.489,P<0.05),BPA was positively correlated with uterine volume(r=0.442,P<0.05),and BPA,DBP,PFHp A,PFOA and PFNA were negatively correlated with gonadotropin or sex hormone levels(BPA-Peak FSH,r=-0.590,P<0.01;DBP-Peak FSH,r=-0.618,P<0.01;DBP-Peak LH,r=-0.435,P<0.05;PFHp A-PRG,r=-0.426,P<0.05;PFOA-FSH /LH,r=-0.453,P<0.05;PFNAPRG,r=-0.556,P<0.01).In the RPP group,BPA and DBP were positively correlated with BMI(BPA,r=0.591,P<0.01;DBP,r =0.597,P<0.01),PFBA and PFHp A were correlated with gonadotropin or sex hormone levels(PFBA-Peak FSH,r=0.433,P<0.05;PFHp A-E2,r=-0.581,P < 0.01;PFHp A-Basal FSH,r=-0.445,P < 0.05;PFHp A-Basal LH,r=-0.463,P<0.05),BPA,PFBA,PFNA,PFUA and PDA were negatively correlated with the level of thyroid hormone or free thyroid hormone(BPAFT3,r=-0.439,P<0.05;PFBA-T4,r=-0.489,P<0.05;PFBA-FT3,r=-0.463,P<0.05;PFNA-T4,r=-0.459,P<0.05;PFUA-T4,r=-0.538,P<0.05;PDA-T4,r=-0.448,P<0.05).Conclusion: The results of this study showed that endocrine disrupting compounds BPA,DBP and PFCs may not be associated with the development of CPP in girls, but BPA and DBP may be associated with the development of RPP in girls.EDCs may interfere with adolescent development by affecting the levels of gonadotropins, sex hormones and thyroid hormones in girls. |
