Clinical Study Of The Efficacy Of The Acupoint Catgut Embeddingbased On The Spleen And Stomach Theory-based Treatment For The Neck Type Of Cervical Spondylosis

ObjectiveTo observe the therapeutic effect of the acupoint catgut embedding based on the Spleen and Stomach Theory-based treatment for the Neck Type of Cervical Spondylosis,and its influence on improving the symptoms,to provide a certain reference value for the clinical treatment of Neck Type of Cervical Spondylosis.MethodsSelect patients in the acupuncture clinic of the first affiliated hospital of guangzhou university of TCM in February 2017 to December 2017,60 voluntary patients with theneck type ofcervical spondylotic diagnosis criteria and inclusion criteria were included,60 patientswere randomly divided into two groups,the treatment group(tonifyingspleenacupoint catgut embedding group)and the control group(cervicalacupoint catgut embedding group),each group with 30 patients.The treatment group was treated with the method ofregulating spleen and stomach with acupoint catgut embedding,main points include:jingbailao,jingjiaji,dazhui,tianshu,guanyuan,zhusanli.The control group was treated with the method ofcervicalacupoint catgut embedding,main points include: jingbailao,jingjiaji,dazhui,ashixue,along with the disease to add and subtract.Treat 1 time every 7 days,and one course of treatment was given in 4 weeks.Both groups were treated with one course of treatment.After the first treatment(before treatment)and 4 weeks treatment(after treatment),recording the score of northwick park quantification and cervical spondylotic TCM symptomsscale.Using SPSS22.0 statistical software to perform statistical analysis,after the data collection and Sorting,and evaluating the clinical effect of the acupoint catgut embedding based on the Spleen and Stomach Theory-based treatment for the neck type of cervical spondylosis.ResultsIn this study,the data of two groups patients were collected twice,before the first treatment and after 4weeks treatment respectively.The test level was 0.05,and P<0.05 was considered to be statistically significant.There were no statistically significant difference(P>0.05)between the two groups patients before treatment with baseline data including gender,age,course,the scores of northwick park quantification and the score of classification of TCM symptoms of cervical spondylosis.Indicates that there is comparability between groups.The scores of northwick park quantification and the score of classification of TCM symptoms of cervical spondylosis were improved after treatment(P<0.05),Indicates that neck pain and the symptoms of TCM were alleviated before treatment.Comparison of the difference value of neck pain and the symptoms of TCM before and after the treatment between the two groups,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicates that the treatment group was better than the control group in improving neck pain and the symptoms of TCM.clinical efficacy: In the comparison of NPQ effect value,the effective rate of the treatment group was 93.3%,and the control group was 86.7%,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),indicates that the therapeutic effect of NPQ was similar in both groups.In the comparison of TCM symptoms curative effect,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.7%,and the control group was 80%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicates that the treatment group was better than the control group in the treatment of TCM symptoms of cervical spondylosis.In the comparison of the overall efficacy of the two groups,the treatment group recovered 2 cases,15 cases showed effect,11 cases were effective,2cases were ineffective,and the total effective rate was 93.3%,in the control group,0 cases were recovered,10 were effective,14 were effective,6 were ineffective,and the total effective rate was 80%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicates that the overall efficacy of the treatment group was better than the control group.ConclusionThis study showed the tonifyingspleenacupoint catgut embedding and the cervicalacupoint catgut embedding both were effectivefor the treatment of the neck type of cervical spondylosis,but there was a difference between the two groups,the tonifyingspleenacupoint catgut embedding is better than the cervicalacupoint catgut embedding.Two groups of clinical curative effects were similar in the treatment of neck pain,however the tonifyingspleenacupoint catgut embedding is better than the cervicalacupoint catgut embedding at the Curative effect of TCM and the overall effect.This study indicated that the acupoint catgut embedding based on the Spleen and Stomach Theory-based treatment for the neck type of cervical spondylosis can significantly reduce the clinical symptoms,relieve neck discomfort and pain,has good clinical efficacy.The acupoint catgut embedding also is safety,it deserves further promotion.
