| Bronchial asthma is the most common chronic respiratory disease in childhood.Persistent chronic airway inflammation is a pathologic feature of asthma, and airway inflammation control is particularly important in the treatment of asthma. In recent years, exhaled nitric oxide(e NO)technology has been applied in the assessment of airway inflammation. This study explores the relationship between fractional exhaled nitric oxide(FeNO),fractional nasally exhaled nitric oxide(FnNO)and asthma control,as well as the correlation with lung function,to provide a basis for a more comprehensive assessment of asthma. Objective:To explore the clinical value of combined detection of FeNO and FnNO,their relationship with asthma control level, and their correlation with lung function. Methods:A total of 88 asthmatic children aged 6-14 who were treated in the outpatient and inpatient department of Pediatric Respiratory First Branch of Jilin University First Hospital from September 2019 to September 2021 were selected, and the case information of all children was collected.Including gender, age, height, weight,BMI,FeNO value,FnNO value, and lung function results. The patients were divided into simple asthma group and asthma combined with allergic rhinitis group according to whether allergic rhinitis was combined. The FeNO,FnNO,pulmonary function and C-ACT scores were compared between the two groups.According to the C-ACT score,an uncontrolled group,a partial control group and a control group were established to compare whether there were differences in FeNO,FnNO and lung function among the three groups. To analyze whether FeNO and FnNO are correlated with various indexes of pulmonary function in children with asthma.Results:1.FeNO and FnNO were not significantly different in asthma group and asthma with allergic rhinitis group(p> 0.05),and lung function(FVC%,FEV1%,FEV1/FVC%,FVC%,PEF%,MEF75%,MEF50%,MEF25%,MMEF%)were not significantly different between the two groups(p> 0.05).2.The FeNO and FnNO levels in asthma uncontrolled group were significantly higher than partial controlled and controlled groups(p<0.05);FVC% increased successively in the uncontrolled, part of control, and control groups, with a significant difference in the groups(p <0.01);FEV1% was significantly lower than partial controlled and controlled groups(p <0.01);FEV1/FVC% was not different among the uncontrolled, partial controlled and controlled groups(p>0.05);The PEF% of uncontrolled group was significantly lower than that of the control group(p <0.05);The MEF50%、MEF25%、MMEF% of the uncontrolled group was significantly lower than other groups(p <0.05);3.FeNO and FnNO levels are not significantly correlated with lung function in asthma children.conclusion:1.The FeNO and FnNO values of the uncontrolled group were significantly higher than those of partial controlled and controlled groups.2.FEV1%,MEF50%、MEF25%、and MMEF% of uncontrolled group were significantly lower than partial controlled and controlled groups;PEF% of uncontrolled group was significantly lower than control group;FVC% was increased in uncontrolled group, partial controlled and controlled groups3.There is no significant correlation between FeNO,FnNO and lung function. |
