A Report On E-C Translation Of Exclusive Interview Recording In China Business News(CBN)

In recent years,with China’s booming economy and the remarkable improvement of its international status,China is gradually moving from the margins of the world to the center of the stage.More and more news media,experts,scholars and state politicians all over the world are focusing on China,which makes the domestic media’s demand for translation constantly expand.Based on three recording materials translated by the author during his internship at China Business News(CBN),this paper probes into the guiding significance of“Comprehension,Expression and Adaption”(CEA)Framework for this translation practice in four parts: task description,process description,case study and conclusion.Task description introduces the background of the task,the features of the interview recording and the significance of the study.Process description introduces translation preparation,translation process and proofreading.As for case study,the report analyzes the guiding role of CEA Framework in recording translation with examples and summarizes the problems and countermeasures in the process of recording translation.The last part is the conclusion about the experience from this practice.It is hoped that this report can provide reference for translators engaged in recording translation practice in the future.The translation practice is successfully completed under the guidance of CEA Framework.According to the understanding of E-C translation of exclusive interview recording,as well as the guiding role of CEA Framework in recording translation,it is assumed that this translation practice report is of certain research value and writing value.
