| Junior high school English reading instruction plays an important role in the whole English educational system,which has an important impact on the improvement of junior high school students’ English level and future development.However,in junior high school English teaching practice,there are still many deficiencies in English reading instruction,such as: lack of interest in learning,lack of classroom interaction,unsatisfactory teaching impact,etc.The interactive teaching mode is different from the traditional mode.It emphasizes that teachers act as guides and students take a central role in classroom learning,which can stimulate students’ interest in learning and improve their ability to use the language at the same time.Based on the advantages of interactive teaching,this paper takes the English reading class in junior high school as the teaching case and Grade 8 students in H Middle School in Dianjiang County as the case study object,the interactive hypothesis theory and cooperative learning theory as the theoretical basis of this interactive teaching model,and studies how to apply interactive teaching model to junior high school English reading teaching.At last,using the questionnaire method and classroom test method,this paper makes a detailed analysis of the teaching effect of the interactive teaching mode in this junior middle school English reading class,points out the shortcomings of this experimental class and puts forward some relevant suggestions,in order to further optimize the interaction in the future.The results show that in the interactive teaching mode,students can quickly master the classroom content of junior high school English reading and be able to apply it skillfully to written English reading;the interactive teaching mode can help students understand the characteristics of junior high school English reading class articles,after reading English articles,they can generalize the content of the article in their own words;the interactive teaching mode can improve students’ ability to acquire,analyze and process knowledge during English reading,and then solve their learning problems in English classroom;the interactive teaching mode can shape students’ reading in English class confidence in the class,enhance their interest in English reading class,and then develop the habit of active preview and review.Based on this,the author also finds some problems in teaching practice and puts forward the following suggestions: First,teachers can carry out various interactive activities to encourage students to share their reading experience.Secondly,teachers should strengthen emotional communication with students and constantly enhance students’ patience in solving problems.In addition,teachers should actively teach learning methods and cultivate students’ reading skills;evaluate each student scientifically and carefully maintain their self-esteem.Finally,teachers should change their roles and constantly optimize their own interactive teaching mode,so as to promote the quality of education in China. |
