Learning procrastination refers to the behavior or behavioral tendency of individuals who do not complete the corresponding learning task on time within the the predetermined time and delay the learning task continuously.Such delays and delays are accompanied by subjective exclusion and rejection.With the arrival of the final deadline of the task,individuals will be accompanied by stress response,or anxiety,or escape.Therefore,the severity of learning delay directly affects the mental health level of students.According to the characteristics of students in our school,the following research contents are finally determined based on the previous relevant research and the author’s strong interest in the subject comparison.First,combing the characteristics of our students,The study procrastination scale was used to measure the four grades of students in our school to investigate the status of study procrastination and analyze the specific influencing factors.The time management tendency level of the students in our school was measured by youth time management tendency questionnaire,and the relationship between time management tendency and learning delay was analyzed.Second,according to the specific situation of students’ learning delay and the causes,the college students’ learning delay group guidance manual is prepared.Thirdly,using the college students’ learning procrastination group guidance manual,we conducted a study on the intervention of group assistance to students with learning procrastination in our school.The results of this study are as follows:First,the overall degree of study delay of students in our school is relatively low,but the majority of students expressed that study delay really brings them trouble,students have a strong desire to reduce the delay in learning,The degree of procrastination in learning tasks varies from grade to grade.Judging from the delay of different learning tasks,there is a significant gender difference among our students.Secondly,through analysis,it is concluded that there are four main reasons forcollege students to delay in learning in our school:poor task time management,hesitant task decision-making,self-lack of self-confidence,anxiety and fear of failure.Third,grade and gender have different degrees of differences in time management tendency.Sophomores had the lowest levels of time management tendencies.According to the research results of three sub-scales of time management tendency,the time management tendency of boys in our school is better than that of girls.Fourthly,the time management tendency is negatively correlated with the students’ learning delay and the reasons.According to the results of linear regression analysis,time management tends to enter into the regression equation of the degree of learning delay and the causes to different degrees in each dimension,which can predict the degree of learning delay and the causes.Fifth,the use of college students learning procrastination group counseling manual to intervene the students learning procrastination,the effect is significant.
