According to the report on the achievements of economic and social development of the 70 th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China released by the National Bureau of Statistics,in 2018,the proportion of China’s population over 65 years of age reached 11.9%,and the aging of the population has brought tremendous pressure on society. As an incurable disease,Alzheimer’s has become the fourth leading cause of death in the elderly.Due to the complexity and specificity of Alzheimer’s disease, caregivers need to face tremendous pressure.Previous studies have shown that in the process of caring for patients with Alzheimer’s,it can lead to psychological problems such as severe negative emotions in the caregiver, which affects the physical and mental health and quality of care of the caregiver. This negative impact on physical and mental health even stops when care is stopped Existed for the next three years. In this study, interventional experiments were used to examine the effects of two practical techniques of life recipes and collective documents in collective narratives on the mood of carers of dementia and their aftereffects. In the first study,a total of 85 caregivers(average age 50.44 ± 4.65 years)were selected through the 7 nursing homes in Kunming.Randomly divide 105 caregivers into three groups, and finally eliminate invalid data: 31 in the integration group,26 in the document group, and 28 in the control group. The integration group conducted a total of eight interventions, divided into two phases, each intervention for 90 minutes, the first phase was the life recipe intervention,a total of six times, respectively, the connection between food and memory, life recipes-ingredients,life recipesprocurement,Life recipes-methods,life recipes-skills,and issuance of certificates;the second stage is collective file intervention,a total of two, through the life recipe intervention to form a collective file, the collective file is passed to other nursing homes, forming a connection and interaction. The file group only intervened in collective files for a total of two times.Participants interacted with other nursing homes by reading the collective files of other nursing homes, discussing, sharing and feedback. The control group did not intervene. The results showed that the anxiety of caregivers with life recipe intervention was significantly lower than that of document intervention;the selfefficacy,self-affirmation,depression,and anxiety of the integration group(life recipe + collective file)and the document group were significantly better than the control group. And the self-efficacy of the integration group was significantly higher than that of the document group, and the anxiety was significantly lower than that of the document group. The increment of self-efficacy and self-affirmation in the integration group was significantly greater than that of depression and anxiety, and the increment of self-affirmation in the document group was significantly greater than that of selfefficacy and also greater than that of depression and anxiety. The purpose of Study 2 was to explore the long-term effectiveness of collective narrative interventions.Six months after the intervention, the mood and efficacy of the three groups of caregivers were re-evaluated.The results showed that the changes in self-efficacy,self-affirmation,and anxiety of the integration group and the file group were not significantly different from those of the control group, and the changes in depression in the file group were significantly greater than those in the integration group and the control group.Changes in depression and anxiety in the aftereffects of the integration group were significantly greater than self-efficacy,anxiety was significantly greater than self-affirmation,and changes in the anxiety and depression of the document group were significantly greater than self-affirmation.This study provides a reference and intervention method for improving the negative emotions of caregivers of patients with dementia, maintaining the physical and mental health of caregivers, and improving the quality of care. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The single technical intervention of the life recipe can significantly reduce the anxiety of the caregivers than the single collective document technology intervention.(2)The intervention effect of the two technologies of life recipe and collective file on the caregiver is better than that of the caregiver who received only a single collective file technology, and even better than the caregiver who did not receive the intervention. The specific performance is:The integrated technology not only can effectively reduce the anxiety of the caregivers, but also has a sustained effect on the caregiver’s depression in 6 months than the caregivers who received only the collective file and the caregivers who did not receive intervention.Integrated technology can effectively increase caregivers’ self-efficacy and selfaffirmation, and has a better sustained impact.(3)The acceptance of collective document interventions also has certain experimental and sustained aftereffects in increasing caregivers’ self-affirmation and anxiety.
