Artistic Characteristics And Singing Analysis Of "follow Mei’s Folk Song"

Yunnan is a province with the largest number of ethnic minorities in China,which also makes the music culture of each ethnic minority bloom in this beautiful land,and also becomes the material bank of writers of various words and songs.The various forms of Yunnan music also show the strong artistic connotation of Yunnan.The contemporary song "follow a Mei’s folk song" composed by Xie Weigeng,Wu Yulin and Yeyuan is a masterpiece in Yunnan song creation library,which has very important artistic value.This "follow a Mei’s folk song" is created from the music style works of the Yi nationality.At the beginning of the song,the unique "seaweed tune" of the Yi nationality is cleverly added,and then the whole song is naturally formed by using modern arrangement and catchy and easy to understand lyrics.This song is a modern national work of tenor,which is difficult to sing.The author will combine the experience of many years of learning vocal music and the guidance of my tutor in theory and practice to analyze this work.This paper is divided into four chapters to explore the artistic characteristics and singing aspects of this work.The first chapter mainly discusses the author’s brief introduction and background information,and reveals the writer’s mood and the artistic connotation of his works.The second chapter mainly from the specific analysis of the lyrics and the structure of the two aspects.The third chapter focuses on the artistic characteristics and emotional expression of the work from the aspects of singing techniques,expression,breath,etc.,and returns to the work itself through the discussion of singing techniques.The fourth chapter is mainly a detailed description of the stage performance of the song,combining what I have seen and learned.The song "follow a Mei’s folk song" also won the first prize and silver award for singing in the fourth Yunnan green song competition in 2011.In 2012,the 12 th "five one projects" excellent works award of the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee,which also fully shows the artistic value of this song.The authoralso hopes that through this article,we can further understand and pay attention to the songs of Yunnan ethnic minorities,so that the music of ethnic minorities can be preserved and further developed.
